00:00Justin Baldoni's lawyer is addressing a new possibility in the director's lawsuit against Blake Lively.

00:05As the It Ends With Us actors continued their legal battle,

00:09Justin's lawyer Brian Friedman detailed whether he would bring Blake's longtime pal Taylor Swift

00:14into the mix for a deposition as she was subtly referenced in their initial filings.

00:20He says on TMZ's Two Angry Men podcast February 5th,

00:23quote,

00:24I don't know that we're going to depose Taylor Swift or not.

00:27I think that that's going to be probably a game time decision.

00:31The attorney noted that if Taylor could provide helpful details to support Justin's case,

00:35he wouldn't hesitate to depose the Karma singer, saying,

00:38quote,

00:39Anyone that reasonably has information that can provide

00:41evidence in this case is going to be deposed. I mean, for sure.

00:45E! News has reached out to reps for Taylor regarding Brian's comments but has not heard back.

00:50Although Taylor wasn't involved in the It Ends With Us film,

00:53her song My Tears Ricochet played in a single scene and trailer.

00:56She also was alluded to in pieces of evidence provided in Justin's January 16th legal filing

01:02when he sued Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist for $400 million.

01:08In the filing, Justin alleges that Blake pressured him to grant her more creative

01:12freedoms with the help of Ryan and another mega celebrity friend.

01:16Although the name of the said pal was redacted for most of the evidence,

01:21one use of the name Taylor was left uncovered in a provided text conversation

01:26in which Justin lauds a scene that Blake had rewritten.

01:29In other evidence filed January 31st, the 41-year-old alleged that the Gossip Girl

01:34alum had made a veiled threat to have Taylor's song removed from the film

01:38if the 37-year-old's demands were not fulfilled.

01:41Despite the era's tour performer's name being tossed around amid Justin and Blake's legal

01:46back and forth, Justin filed his lawsuit weeks after Blake sued the director for

01:50sexual harassment and retaliation.

01:53After rumors circulated that Blake and Taylor's 10-year friendship

01:56was in jeopardy due to the drama, a source told E! News, quote, it's not true.
