00:00After more than three decades of hiding, the suspect who was wanted for the murder of a man in Santa Ana, Manila has already been arrested.

00:08The man was a gay man who was just involved in the crime.

00:11Here is the first news, James Agustin.

00:15The warrant of arrest for the 52-year-old construction worker who was wanted for the murder was filed by the police.

00:23He was found at his house in Barangay Caligayahan, Quezon City.

00:27According to the police, the man was hiding for more than 30 years.

00:30We crown-checked the man.

00:33We identified that he was the one who filed the warrant of arrest.

00:38He was hiding in Beliran, Leyte.

00:41And later years, he was just here in Barangay Caligayahan, here in Quezon City.

00:48He just changed the alias that he was using.

00:52According to the information held by the QCPD, the crime happened in Santa Ana, Manila in 1993.

00:57The man was killed after the suspect fired a gun.

01:02Allegedly, he was accused of firing a gun at our victim.

01:09The warrant was issued in 1998.

01:13Secondly, the man was on the Most Wanted Persons List of QCPD Station 16.

01:18He denied the crime.

01:20I didn't do it.

01:22It's proven that I was just involved.

01:26That's why I couldn't work properly because I was accused of having a case there.

01:33Were you the one who did it?

01:35I was hiding in the province because I found out about it.

01:38Then I came back to Manila.

01:41The warrant was returned by the police.

01:43They are just waiting for the commitment order from the court.
