00:00The number of unemployed people in the country decreased according to the Philippine Statistics Authority.
00:04This is what Vell Custodio reported.
00:08The employment rate in the Philippines increased by 96.9 percent
00:12based on the latest Labor Force Survey of the Philippine Statistics Authority in December 2024.
00:17This means that there are 50.9 million Filipinos who have jobs.
00:21Our employment rate for the whole year 2024 is 96.2 percent higher
00:28compared to the employment rate for the whole year 2023 which is 95.6 percent.
00:33The unemployment rate remains at 3.1 percent
00:37or the number of unemployed people.
00:38It also decreased to 10.9 percent under employment rate.
00:41There are more workers in the transportation, construction, and public services sectors.
00:46The National Capital Region is one of the first places where jobseekers are recruited.
00:51Generally, the NCR increased.
00:54The NCR's employment rate is high.
00:58The President also has a directive that job fairs will be held every month.

01:06job fairs will continue for the 12,000 graduating Pantawid Pamilabilipino Program Beneficiaries in Metro Manila
