00:14It started with a loud and colorful parade

00:17that was led by barangays in Binan,

00:20students, teachers, and local governments.

00:23The tarpaulins and drums were beating

00:27for 15 years that they became one city.

00:32Since 2010, Binan has been a prosperous city.

00:37In fact, the city is continuing to organize

00:39historical places and provide free education.

00:43But the local government said

00:45they are not yet done with the development of Binan

00:48because there are still projects

00:50to organize 11 schools and houses

00:54where thousands of students and residents will benefit.

00:59As long as we can accommodate those who want to study,

01:02because there are a lot of people who want to study,

01:05but they can't afford to go to private schools.

01:09That's why our Pulong Longso,

01:12together with Vice Mayor Jed Alorbe,

01:14will improve the quality of education.

01:17We will choose those who will benefit

01:21because our low-income families

01:24don't have their own homes here in Longsod.

01:32This has nothing to do with the election.

01:44The LGU promised that even during the election,

01:48they will continue to organize projects in Longsod

01:51because most of them are already out of the spending ban

01:54that will be implemented by the Commission on Elections.

02:05Meanwhile, the campaign period for the local position

02:08for March 28 is about to start again.

02:11Binan LGU is ready to comply with Comelec's guidelines,

02:15especially on the distribution and the correct size of the posters.

02:20Before the start, the official start of the campaign,

02:25the city will ask us to leave so that we can clean up.

02:29And there are designated areas

02:36where we can put the tarpaulins.

02:39So, I would say starting March 20 to 27,

02:45we will clear Longsod and they won't be able to put

02:51the tarpaulins.

02:54The issue of Comelec's cancellation of the COC

02:58of one of the running congressmen in Longsod,

03:01Michael Yatko, is also noisy.

03:03The petition was still in the 2022 elections,

03:05but this January, Comelec decided to cancel it.

03:08The LGU said that they plan to repeat the same petition

03:12for the 2025 elections.

03:15So, the transfer is invalid because in the first place,
