00:04We've got some luminaries up here, Peter Primrose, MLC, but it's also supported by the Gidget
00:10Foundation that's made it happen.
00:13Absolutely wonderful to have it here for all the families and may much more of this come

00:21So here we are, 34th Gidget House.

00:25It's absolutely delightful that we're here and able to open the Gidget House here at
00:30Armidale because it means that the 1,000 parents every single year that are diagnosed with
00:36perinatal depression and anxiety here within the Armidale and New England region will be
00:40able to access the services they need.
00:43Pretty exciting.
00:44So I'm looking forward to it.
00:45We've got a lot of people here from local community support as well, which is fantastic.
00:49So they've welcomed us here, so it's very, very good.
00:52Absolutely.
00:54We've got five mums and one in ten dads who experience prenatal depression and anxiety.
00:58And so to be able to offer the services for free, ensure that they're face-to-face and
01:06that we can do this within an area that needs it is just brilliant.
