00:00Wow, okay, wrote down a few words, Bianca Reimagined is our 18 piece big band album inspired by our late rescue dog, Bianca, who we pulled out from a city shelter.
00:18It's an honor to be in L.A. witnessing the resilience of the music community. I'll never forget when my dad took me to a record store in L.A. when I was 10 and bought my first big band album.
00:30Thank you to the rescue groups, including Pasadena Humane, who work 24 hours a day helping animals affected by the wildfires and spreading the word about the importance of fostering shelter pets. They are the true heroes.
00:45This honor means the world. I'd like to thank the Recording Academy, the New York Chapter, and the fellow nominees in the category, My Genius Wife, Nicole Zoraides, and Musical Partner.
00:58The musicians playing in my big band for over 15 years who traveled from New York City. Nick Finzer at Outside In Music, my family who traveled from Tel Aviv, and my in-laws from the East Coast.
01:09The amazing engineer at Bunker Studio, Aaron Nevesi, and Alex the Turk. Thank you to Susan Blumberg Kabir Seigel to be in my Jazz Composer Workshop, and the Café Royale Cultural Foundation. Thank you so much.
