00:00Thank you very much.
00:13That's a lot of press.
00:15Congratulations.
00:16You bring them out.
00:18You really bring them out.
00:20Today, I'm delighted to welcome Israeli Prime
00:22Minister Benjamin Netanyahu back to the White
00:25House.
00:26It's a wonderful feeling and a wonderful event.
00:29We had fantastic talks.
00:32And thank you very much with your staff.
00:36He's the first foreign head of state to visit
00:39during our administration.
00:40And, Bibi, I want to say it's an honor to have you
00:44with us.
00:46Over the past four years, the U.S.
00:47and the Israeli alliance has been tested more than
00:52any time in history.
00:55But the bonds of friendship and affection
00:57between the American and Israeli people have
01:00endured for generations, and they are absolutely
01:03unbreakable.
01:04They are unbreakable.
01:06I'm confident that under our leadership, the
01:09cherished alliance between our two countries will
01:12soon be stronger than ever.
01:13We had a great relationship.
01:15We had great victories together four years ago.
01:19Not so many victories over the past four years,
01:21however.
01:23In my first term, Prime Minister and I forged a
01:26tremendously successful partnership that brought
01:29peace and stability to the Middle East like it hadn't
01:32seen in decades.
01:35Together, we defeated ISIS.
01:36We ended the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, one of
01:39the worst deals ever made, by the way, and imposed
01:42the toughest-ever sanctions on the Iranian regime.
01:46We starved Hamas and Iran's other terrorist
01:49proxies, and we starved them like they had never
01:54seen before.
01:55Resources and support disappeared for them.
01:58I recognized Israel's capital, opened the
02:01American embassy in Jerusalem, and got it
02:04built, by the way.
02:05Built it to just not only designated it, but got it
02:09built at a price that nobody has seen for 40
02:13years.
02:14We got it built.
02:14It's beautiful.
02:15All Jerusalem stone, right from nearby.
02:19And it was something that's very special.
02:21And recognized Israeli sovereignty over the
02:24Golan Heights, something that they talked about for
02:2870 years, and they weren't able to get it, and I got
02:31it.
02:32And with the historic Abraham Accords, something
02:35that was really an achievement that was, I
02:39think, going to become more and more important
02:41because we achieved the most significant Middle
02:43East peace agreements in half a century.
02:46But the Abraham Accords, in particular, and I
02:49really believe that many countries will soon be
02:51joining this amazing peace and economic
02:54development transaction.
02:56It really is a big economic development
02:58transaction.
03:00I think we're going to have a lot of people
03:02signing up very quickly.
03:03Unfortunately, for four years, nobody signed up.
03:05Nobody did anything for four years except in the
03:08negative.
03:09Unfortunately, the weakness and incompetence
03:13of those years, those past four years, the grave
03:15damage around the globe that was done, including
03:19in the Middle East, grave damage all over the globe.
03:23The horrors of October 7th would never have
03:26happened if I were President.
03:28The Ukraine and Russia disaster would never have
03:32happened if I were President.
03:34Over the past 16 months, Israel has endured a
03:37sustained aggressive and murderous assault on
03:41every front, but they fought back bravely.
03:43You see that and you know that.
03:45What we have witnessed is an all-out attack on the
03:48very existence of a Jewish state in the
03:51Jewish homeland.
03:53The Israelis have stood strong and united in the
03:56face of an enemy that has kidnapped, tortured,
04:00raped, and slaughtered innocent men, women,
04:03children, and even little babies.
04:06I want to salute the Israeli people for
04:09meeting this trial with courage and determination
04:12and unflinching resolve.
04:14They have been strong.
04:16In our meetings today, the Prime Minister and I
04:18focused on the future, discussing how we can work
04:21together to ensure Hamas is eliminated and
04:25ultimately restore peace to a very troubled region.
04:29It's been troubled, but what's happened in the
04:32last four years has not been good.
04:35I want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for
04:37working closely with my transition team, the
04:40Special Envoy Steve Whitkoff, who's here
04:44somewhere.
04:44Steve?
04:46Stand up, Steve, please.
04:47What a job you've done.
04:48What a good job you've done.
04:51Proud of you.
04:52You've done a fantastic job.
04:54National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
04:56Thank you, Mike, for working so well with us.
05:01We have, in addition, Marco Rubio, who is on the
05:07phone right now, listening to every single word that
05:09we say.
05:10And he's going to be great.
05:11And, Pete, congratulations.
05:13And, Scott, congratulations.
05:15I see you're here.
05:17And Caroline's been doing a great job.
05:20She's really probably talked about more than
05:22anybody here.
05:24She's done a fantastic job.
05:26And thank you very much, Caroline.
05:27We're proud of you.
05:28But we'll only be satisfied when all of
05:32these problems are solved and we have the team to
05:34solve them.
05:35And that's going to happen.
05:37And it's going to happen, I think, very quickly.
05:39I also strongly believe that the Gaza Strip,
05:42which has been a symbol of death and destruction for
05:45so many decades, and so bad for the people anywhere
05:48near it, and especially those who live there, and
05:52frankly, who's been really very unlucky.
05:54It's been very unlucky.
05:55It's been an unlucky place for a long time.
05:58Being in its presence just has not been good, and it
06:03should not go through a process of rebuilding and
06:06occupation by the same people that have really
06:09stood there and fought for it and lived there and
06:13died there.
06:15And lived a miserable existence there.
06:18Instead, we should go to other countries of
06:21interest with humanitarian hearts.
06:23And there are many of them that want to do this and
06:26build various domains that will ultimately be
06:29occupied by the 1.8 million Palestinians living
06:33in Gaza, ending the death and destruction and,
06:36frankly, bad luck.
06:38This can be paid for by neighboring countries of
06:41great wealth.
06:42It could be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12.
06:47It could be numerous sites, or it could be one
06:48large site.
06:50But the people will be able to live in comfort and
06:52peace, and we'll make sure something really
06:57spectacular is done.
06:58They're going to have peace.
07:00They're not going to be shot at and killed and
07:04destroyed like this civilization of wonderful
07:08people has had to endure.
07:10The only reason the Palestinians want to go
07:13back to Gaza is they have no alternative.
07:17It's right now a demolition site.
07:19This is just a demolition site.
07:21Virtually every building is down.
07:23They're living under fallen concrete that's very
07:26dangerous and very precarious.
07:29They instead can occupy all of a beautiful area
07:34with homes and safety, and they can live out their
07:36lives in peace and harmony instead of having to go
07:39back and do it again.
07:40The U.S.
07:41will take over the Gaza Strip, and we will do a
07:44job with it, too.
07:46We'll own it and be responsible for
07:48dismantling all of the dangerous, unexploded
07:50bombs and other weapons on the site, level the site,
07:54and get rid of the destroyed buildings,
07:57level it out, create an economic development that
08:00will supply unlimited numbers of jobs and
08:03housing for the people of the area, do a real job,
08:08do something different.
08:09Just can't go back.
08:10If you go back, it's going to end up the same way it
08:12has for 100 years.
08:15I'm hopeful that this ceasefire could be the
08:17beginning of a larger and more enduring peace that
08:20will end the bloodshed and killing once and for all.
08:23With the same goal in mind, my administration has
08:26been moving quickly to restore trust in the
08:29alliance and rebuild American strength
08:31throughout the region.
08:32And we've really done that.
08:33We're a respected nation again.
08:36A lot's happened in the last couple of weeks.
08:38We are actually a very respected nation again.
08:42I ended the last administration's de facto
08:45arms embargo on over $1 billion in military
08:49assistance for Israel.
08:50And I'm also pleased to announce that this
08:53afternoon, the United States withdrew from the
08:55anti-Semitic U.N.
08:56Human Rights Council and ended all of the support
09:00for the U.N.
09:00Relief and Works Agency, which funneled money to
09:03Hamas and which was very disloyal to humanity.
09:07Today, I also took action to restore a maximum
09:10pressure policy on the Iranian regime.
09:13And we will once again enforce the most
09:15aggressive possible sanctions, drive Iranian
09:18oil exports to zero, and diminish the regime's
09:22capacity to fund terror throughout the region and
09:24throughout the world.
09:26We had no threat when I left office.
09:30Iran was not able to sell oil.
09:35Nobody was buying oil because I said, don't buy
09:38it.
09:38If you buy it, you're not doing any business with
09:40the United States.
09:41And Hamas was not being funded.
09:42Hezbollah was not being funded.
09:45Nobody was being funded.
09:46There would never have been an October 7th.
09:49Two weeks ago, I once again designated the Houthis
09:53as a terrorist organization.
09:55They're trying to destroy world shipping lanes, and
09:59that's not going to happen.
10:01And over the weekend, I ordered airstrikes
10:02against senior ISIS leaders hiding in the
10:05caves of Somalia and took them out.
10:09Here in America, we've begun the process of
10:11deporting foreign terrorists, jihadists,
10:13and Hamas sympathizers from our soil, just as we
10:16have people that are extremely evil.
10:21And we're sending them out of our country.
10:22They came from jails.
10:24They came from mental institutions and insane
10:26asylums, and they were dumped into our country.
10:29They're gang members.
10:30We're getting them out at numbers that nobody
10:32can actually believe.
10:35And every single country is taking those people back.
10:39They said they would never take them back, and
10:40they're all taking them back.
10:42And they're taking them back very gladly.
10:44And I recently signed an executive order combating
10:47the vile wave of anti-Semitism that we've
10:50seen in the aftermath of the October 7th attacks.
10:55Together, America and Israel will renew the
10:57optimism that shined so brightly just four years
11:00ago.
11:01It was really a bright, beautiful light.
11:04We will restore calm and stability to the region and
11:06expand prosperity, opportunity, and hope to
11:09our nations and for all people of the Middle East,
11:12including the Arab and Muslim nations.
11:15Very important.
11:16We want the Arab and Muslim nations to have
11:19peace and have tranquility and have great lives.
11:25I'd like to now invite Prime Minister Netanyahu
11:28to say a few words, and we'll take some questions
11:32afterwards.
11:33Thank you very much.
11:33Prime Minister Netanyahu, thank you, Mr. President.
11:38I'm honored that you invited me to be the first
11:41foreign leader to visit the White House in your
11:44second term.
11:46This is a testament to your friendship and support
11:50for the Jewish state and the Jewish people.
11:55I've said this before.
11:57I'll say it again.
11:58You are the greatest friend Israel has ever had
12:02in the White House.
12:03And that's why the people of Israel have such
12:10enormous respect for you.
12:13In your first term, you recognized Jerusalem as
12:16Israel's capital.
12:18You moved the American embassy there.
12:20You recognized Israel's sovereignty over the
12:22Golan Heights.
12:24You withdrew from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal.
12:27I remember we spoke about it.
12:29You said, this is the worst deal I've ever seen.
12:33I'm elected.
12:33I'm walking out of it.
12:34That's exactly what you did.
12:36And I think it speaks loudly for just common
12:41sense, just looking at things and seeing them as
12:43they are.
12:45And, of course, you also brokered the
12:47groundbreaking Abraham Accords in which Israel
12:50made peace with four Arab states.
12:52You did this in four months.
12:54Nothing happened for a quarter of a century.
12:56But in four months, we were able, working together
12:59under your leadership, to have four historic peace
13:03accords.
13:04And now, in the first days of your second term, you
13:09picked up right where you left off.
13:12Your leadership helped bring our hostages home,
13:16among them American citizens.
13:18You freed up munitions that have been withheld from
13:21Israel.
13:22They had been withheld from Israel in the midst of a
13:26seven-front war for our existence.
13:30And you just freed it.
13:32You ended unjust sanctions against law-abiding
13:35Israeli citizens.
13:37You boldly confronted the scourge of anti-Semitism.
13:42You stopped funding, as you just said, international
13:45organizations like UNRWA that support and fund
13:49terrorists.
13:51And today, you renewed the maximum pressure campaign
13:55against Iran.
13:58Ladies and gentlemen, all this in just two weeks.
14:01Can we imagine where we'll be in four years?
14:05I can.
14:06I know you can, Mr. President.
14:10For our part, we in Israel have been pretty busy, too.
14:15Since the horrendous October 7th attack, we've been
14:18fighting our common enemies and changing the face of the
14:22Middle East.
14:24On that infamous day, Hamas monsters savagely murdered
14:291,200 innocent people, including more than 40
14:34Americans.
14:36They beheaded men.
14:37They raped women.
14:39They burned babies alive.
14:42And they took 251 people hostage to the dungeons of
14:47Gaza.
14:49And after this worst attack on Jews since the
14:53Holocaust, Iran and its henchmen in the Middle East
14:56were absolutely ecstatic.
14:59Hania praised the massacre.
15:01Sinwar said that Israel was finished.
15:05Nasrallah boasted that Israel was, here's what he
15:09said, as feeble as a spider's web.
15:13Well, Mr. President, Hania is gone.
15:17Sinwar is gone.
15:19Nasrallah is gone.
15:21We've devastated Hamas.
15:23We decimated Hezbollah.
15:25We destroyed Assad's remaining armaments.
15:29And we crippled Iran's air defenses.
15:32And in doing this, we've defeated some of America's
15:36worst enemies.
15:38We took out terrorists who were wanted for decades for
15:43shedding rivers of American blood, including the blood of
15:47241 Marines murdered in Beirut.
15:51We accomplished all this with the indomitable spirit
15:55of our people and the boundless courage of our
15:58soldiers.
16:00The Bible says that the people of Israel shall rise
16:04like lions, and boy, did we rise.
16:08Today, the roar of the Lion of Judah is heard loudly
16:11throughout the Middle East.
16:13Israel has never been stronger.
16:16And the Iran terror axis has never been weaker.
16:20But as we discussed, Mr. President, to secure our
16:23future and bring peace to our region, we have to
16:28finish the job.
16:30In Gaza, Israel has three goals.
16:33Destroy Hamas's military and governing capabilities,
16:36secure the release of all of our hostages, and ensure
16:40that Gaza never again poses a threat to Israel.
16:44I believe, Mr. President, that your willingness to
16:48puncture conventional thinking, thinking that has
16:51failed time and time and time again, your
16:54willingness to think outside the box with fresh
16:57ideas, will help us achieve all these goals.
17:01And I've seen you do this many times.
17:04You cut to the chase.
17:07You see things others refuse to see.
17:11You say things others refuse to say.
17:14And after the jaws drop, people scratch their heads
17:19and they say, you know, he's right.
17:22And this is the kind of thinking that enabled us to
17:25bring the Abraham Accords.
17:28This is the kind of thinking that will reshape
17:30the Middle East and bring peace.
17:33We also see eye to eye on Iran.
17:40That's the same Iran.
17:41They try to kill us both.
17:44They try to kill you, Mr. President.
17:47They try through their proxies to kill me.
17:50We're both committed to rolling back Iran's
17:52aggression in the region and ensuring that Iran never
17:56develops a nuclear weapon.
18:00Mr. President, ladies and gentlemen, Israel will end
18:05the war by winning the war.
18:08Israel's victory will be America's victory.
18:11We will not only win the war, working together,
18:15we will win the peace.
18:18With your leadership, Mr. President, and our
18:20partnership, I believe that we will forge a
18:23brilliant future for our region and bring our great
18:26alliance to even greater heights.
18:31The President Thank you very much, baby.
18:32Very nice.
18:34J.D. Vance, everybody.
18:36J.D., please.
18:38Vice President, stand up.
18:40He's been doing a good job.
18:41He's been working very hard on all things, but
18:45this in particular.
18:47We'll take some questions, please.
18:50Yes, ma'am.
18:50Go ahead, please.
18:52Go ahead.
18:53Yeah, go ahead.
18:54The Press Mr. President, can a normalization deal
18:56with Saudi Arabia be achieved without the
18:59acknowledgement of a Palestinian state?
19:01That question's for you, too, Mr. Prime Minister.
19:03And, Mr. President, given what you've said about
19:05Gaza, did the U.S.
19:07send troops to help secure the security vacuum?
19:11The President So, Saudi Arabia is going to be
19:13very helpful, and they have been very helpful.
19:15They want peace in the Middle East.
19:16It's very simple.
19:19We know their leader and their leaders very well.
19:21They're wonderful people, and they want peace in the
19:24Middle East.
19:25As far as Gaza is concerned, we'll do what
19:28is necessary.
19:28If it's necessary, we'll do that.
19:30We're going to take over that peace, and we're
19:33going to develop it, create thousands and
19:35thousands of jobs.
19:37And it'll be something that the entire Middle
19:39East can be very proud of.
19:41But everybody feels that continuing the same
19:44process that's gone on forever, over and over
19:48again, and then it starts, and then the killing
19:50starts, and all of the other problems start, and
19:55you end up in the same place.
19:57And we don't want to see that happen.
19:59So, by the United States, with its stability and
20:01strength, owning it, especially the strength
20:03that we're developing and developed over the last
20:06fairly short period of time, I would say, really,
20:08since the election, I think we'll be a great
20:12keeper of something that is very, very strong, very
20:15powerful, and very, very good for the area, not
20:18just for Israel, for the entire Middle East.
20:20Very important.
20:20And we'll, again, have thousands of jobs, and
20:23there'll be jobs for everyone, not for a
20:26specific group of people, but for everybody.
20:29Okay?
20:30Please.
20:31President Obama I think peace between Israel and
20:34Saudi Arabia is not only feasible, I think it's
20:38going to happen.
20:39I think if we had another half a year in your first
20:43term, it would have already happened.
20:45The President It's true.
20:45Many, many more.
20:46I agree.
20:47Many more nations.
20:47President Obama It would have happened.
20:49I think you can't prejudge and pre-guess how we'll
20:54achieve it, but I'm committed to achieving it.
20:56And I know the President is committed to achieving
20:59it, and I think the Saudi leadership is interested
21:02to achieve it.
21:02So, we'll give it a good shot, and I think we'll
21:05succeed.
21:06Yeah, please.
21:08Go ahead.
21:08The Press First of all, Mr. President, did you hear
21:11from Prime Minister Netanyahu at your meeting
21:13guaranteeing that the ceasefire will hold,
21:16including a student?
21:17And Prime Minister Netanyahu, in your view,
21:19why are you refusing to assess the National
21:22Commission to Investigate Traders of Foreign
21:24Systems?
21:25President Trump Well, I can't tell you whether or
21:28not the ceasefire will hold.
21:29We've done, I think, a very masterful job.
21:33We weren't helped very much by the Biden
21:36administration, I can tell you that.
21:38But we've gotten quite a few hostages out.
21:42We're going to get more out.
21:44But we're dealing with very complex people, and
21:47we are going to see whether or not it holds.
21:49We certainly want to have more come out.
21:51They've come out damaged in many ways.
21:55Damaged.
21:55Very damaged people.
21:57But they're going to get better, and they're going
21:58to be strong, and they're going to have a good life.
22:01And we hope to get as many as possible out.
22:03Whether or not it holds, I don't know.
22:05We hope it holds.
22:06We hope it holds.
22:07President Obama I think that at the appropriate
22:11time, which I think will enable us to really
22:15investigate what happens, what were the causes of
22:18the failures by an independent commission
22:22that will be accepted by the majority of the people.
22:26We don't want it accepted by one half of the people
22:29and not the other.
22:31I think we should have it, and we should find out
22:33exactly what happened.
22:35I'm insisting on it.
22:37And believe me, it'll surprise a lot of people
22:40when it happens.
22:41The Press Kelly, Kelly.
22:44Go ahead.
22:44The Press Thank you, Mr. President, Mr. Prime
22:53Minister.
22:54You are talking tonight about the United States
22:56taking over a sovereign territory.
22:59What authority would allow you to do that?
23:01Are you talking about a permanent occupation there?
23:04Redevelopment?
23:06And, Mr. Prime Minister, do you see this idea as a
23:08way to expand the boundaries of Israel and
23:11to have a longer peace, even though the Israeli
23:15people know how important that land is to you and
23:18your citizens, just as the space is inherited by the
23:23Palestinians as well?
23:25The President I do see a long-term ownership
23:28position, and I see it bringing great stability
23:31to that part of the Middle East and maybe the
23:34entire Middle East.
23:35And everybody I've spoken to, this was not a
23:38decision made lightly.
23:39Everybody I've spoken to loves the idea of the
23:41United States owning that piece of land,
23:45developing and creating thousands of jobs with
23:47something that will be magnificent in a really
23:50magnificent area that nobody would know.
23:52Nobody can look because all they see is death and
23:54destruction and rubble and demolished buildings
23:59falling all over.
24:00It's just a terrible, terrible sight.
24:03I've studied it.
24:04I've studied this very closely over a lot of
24:08months, and I've seen it from every different
24:10angle.
24:11And it's a very, very dangerous place to be.
24:13And it's only going to get worse.
24:15And I think this is an idea that's gotten
24:18tremendous.
24:19And I'm talking about from the highest level of
24:21leadership, gotten tremendous praise.
24:24And if the United States can help to bring
24:26stability and peace in the Middle East, we'll do
24:28that.
24:29Maybe.
24:30The Press I mentioned again tonight our three
24:37goals.
24:37And the third goal is to make sure that Gaza never
24:40poses a threat to Israel again.
24:43President Trump is taking it to a much higher
24:45level.
24:46He sees a different he sees a different future for
24:50that piece of land that has been the focus of so
24:54much terrorism, so much so many attacks against us,
24:58so many, so many trials and so many tribulations.
25:03He has a different idea.
25:05And I think it's worth paying attention to this.
25:08We're talking about it.
25:10He's exploring it with his people, with his staff.
25:14I think it's something that could change history.
25:16And it's worthwhile really pursuing this avenue.
25:21Yeah, please go ahead.
25:23Right.
25:24Yeah.
25:24We're working very hard to get all the hostages
25:47that word is all.
25:48And we're working very hard so far.
25:50It's been moving along fairly rapidly, pretty much
25:54on schedule.
25:56It's I'd love to have them all out at one time, but
25:59we're taking them out.
25:59And tomorrow, more are being released.
26:02And over the days, more.
26:03And then we'll go into a phase two.
26:06But we'd like to get all of the hostages.
26:08And if we don't, it will just make us somewhat
26:13more violent.
26:14I will tell you that because they would have
26:16broken their word.
26:17Mr. Whitkoff and his entire group have been
26:21working 24 hours around the clock, and they want
26:24them out.
26:25And promises have been made to them.
26:27And we'll see whether or not those promises will
26:30be kept.
26:31But we want all the hostages.
26:32That's right.
26:33How much time do you think it will take?
26:34Do you support Israeli sovereignty in Judea and
26:40Samaria areas, which many believe is the biblical
26:44homeland of the Jewish people?
26:45Well, we're discussing that with many of your
26:48representatives.
26:49You're represented very well.
26:51And people do like the idea.
26:53But we haven't taken a position on it yet.
26:56But we will be we'll be making an announcement,
26:59probably, on that very specific topic over the
27:02next four weeks.
27:03Go ahead, please.
27:08Please.
27:09The Press You just say that you think all all
27:16the Palestinians should be relocated to other
27:19countries.
27:20Does that mean that you do not support a two-state
27:22solution?
27:24It doesn't mean anything about a two-state or one
27:26state or any other state.
27:28It means that we want to have we want to give
27:31people a chance at life.
27:33They have never had a chance at life because the
27:35Gaza Strip has been a hellhole for people living
27:38there.
27:39It's horrible.
27:39The Hamas has made it so bad, so bad, so dangerous,
27:45so unfair to people.
27:47And by doing what I'm recommending that we do,
27:50it's a very strong recommendation, but it is a
27:52strong recommendation.
27:54By doing that, we think we're going to bring
27:56perhaps great peace to long beyond this area.
27:59And I have to stress this is not for Israel.
28:03This is for everybody in the Middle East, Arabs,
28:05Muslims.
28:06This is for everybody.
28:07This would be where they can partake in terms of
28:10jobs and living and all of the other benefits.
28:13And I think it's very important.
28:14It just doesn't work the other way.
28:16You know, you can't keep trying.
28:18They just has been going along for so many decades.
28:21You can't even count.
28:23You just can't keep doing.
28:24You have to learn from history.
28:25You can't keep doing the same mistake over and
28:27over again.
28:30Gaza is a hellhole right now.
28:32It was before the bombing started, frankly.
28:35And we're going to give people a chance to live in
28:37a beautiful community that's safe and secure.
28:41And I think you're going to see tremendous a
28:44tremendous outflowing of support.
28:47I can tell you, I spoke to other leaders of
28:50countries in the Middle East, and they love the
28:52idea.
28:52They say it would really bring stability.
28:54And what we need is stability.
28:56Yes, sir.
28:57Please.
28:57Go ahead.
28:59Are you still committed to imposing sanctions on the
29:04ICC, despite the move being stalled in the Senate?
29:07And please, a question for the Prime Minister as
29:09well.
29:10The President has been very clear about his desire to
29:13achieve a deal with Saudi Arabia.
29:15How do you settle this if Israel is required to
29:18renew the war against Hamas in the future?
29:21Go ahead, Bibi.
29:22I think everybody understands that just as
29:27the President fought and defeated al Qaeda and ISIS,
29:32that we can't leave Hamas there because Hamas will
29:36continue the battle to destroy Israel.
29:38They'll do, you know, in this temporary ceasefire,
29:42one of the leaders comes out.
29:44You know what he says?
29:46We're going to do October 7th again, except we'll do
29:49it bigger.
29:51So, obviously, you can't talk about peace, neither
29:56with Hamas or in the Middle East, if this toxic,
30:00murderous organization is left standing.
30:03Any more than you could make peace in Europe after
30:06World War Two, if the Nazi regime was left standing
30:09and the Nazi army was left standing.
30:12You want a different future?
30:13You've got to knock out the people who want to destroy
30:15you and destroy peace.
30:17That's what we're going to do.
30:18I think that will also bring usher in, actually,
30:22the peace with Saudi Arabia and with others.
30:24And I think there will be others, too.
30:26Yes, ma'am.
30:27Go ahead.
30:28The Press Question is on Afghanistan.
30:30My name is Nazira Zinfari.
30:31I'm an Afghan suffragette woman.
30:32I have high expectations from you.
30:34Do you have any plan to change Afghanistan's situation?
30:37Are you able to recognize Taliban?
30:39Because I'm an Afghan journalist.
30:41I'm an Afghan suffragette woman.
30:43Any comment about Afghanistan?
30:44What's your future plan for Afghan people,
30:46especially Afghans?
30:47I have a little hard time understanding you.
30:51Where are you from?
30:52Afghanistan.
30:53I'm from Afghanistan.
30:54Actually, it's a beautiful voice and a beautiful accent.
30:57The only problem is I can't understand a word you're saying.
30:59But I just say this.
31:03Good luck.
31:04Live in peace.
31:05Go ahead, please.
31:06That's okay.
31:07Yeah, please.
31:08And, Prime Minister, you said earlier today that it was tough
31:14for you to implement these sanctions on Iran.
31:19But you did indicate that you were willing to negotiate
31:21with them.
31:22What would that look like?
31:23And are you in conversations with them?
31:26And the same for the Prime Minister, sir.
31:28I hated doing it.
31:29I want Iran to be peaceful and successful.
31:32I hated doing it.
31:34I did it once before.
31:36And we brought them down to a level where they were unable
31:39to give any money.
31:40They had to survive themselves.
31:41And they had no money.
31:42They were essentially broke.
31:46And they had no money for, as I said, Hezbollah.
31:48They had no money for Hamas.
31:50They had no money for any form of terror.
31:52The 28, if you call it, the 28 sites of terror.
31:57They had no money for any of it.
31:59They had to do their own and focus on their own
32:02well-being.
32:03And I hated to do it then.
32:05And I hate it.
32:06I hate to do it just as much now.
32:08And I say this, and I say this to Iran, who is
32:11listening very intently.
32:13I would love to be able to make a great deal, a deal
32:16where you can get on with your lives and you'll do
32:20wonderfully.
32:21You'll do wonderfully.
32:22Incredible people, industrious, beautiful,
32:25just an unbelievable group of people in Iran.
32:29And I know them well.
32:30I have many friends from Iran and many friends that
32:33are Americans from Iran.
32:36And they're very proud of Iran.
32:38But I hated to do it, just so you understand.
32:41And I hope we're going to be able to do something so
32:43that it doesn't end up in a very catastrophic situation.
32:48I don't want to see that happen.
32:50I want to I really want to see peace.
32:53And I hope that we're able to do that.
32:55They cannot have a nuclear weapon.
32:56It's very simple.
32:57I'm not putting restrictions.
32:59I'm not.
33:00They can not have one thing.
33:02They cannot have a nuclear weapon.
33:04And if I think that they will have a nuclear weapon,
33:07despite what I just said, that I think that's going
33:10to be very unfortunate for them.
33:12If, on the other hand, they can convince us that
33:14they won't.
33:15And I hope they can.
33:16It's very easy to do.
33:17It's actually very easy to do.
33:19I think they're going to have an unbelievable future.
33:22Yeah, please, sir.
33:23Go ahead.
33:24The Press.
33:24Thank you, Mr. President.
33:26You just laid out your plan for Gaza.
33:29Yes.
33:29Can you lay out your plan for Ukraine and also for
33:33Ukraine, for Ukraine?
33:34Yes.
33:35You consider yourself a strong leader.
33:38You blamed your predecessor for letting
33:41Russia to take over Ukraine.
33:43Will you demand from Putin to get out of Ukraine,
33:47from sovereign territory of Ukraine?
33:49So, we're dealing right now on the subject.
33:51I don't want to spend a lot of time because we're
33:53here for another reason.
33:54But we are having very good talks, very
33:56constructive talks on Ukraine.
33:59And we are talking to the Russians.
34:01We're talking to the Ukrainian leadership.
34:05It would have never happened.
34:06That would have never happened.
34:07It should have never happened.
34:09I get reports every week, the number of soldiers,
34:11mostly soldiers now.
34:13The cities have been largely demolished.
34:16You talk about a very sad sight to see.
34:20We talk Gaza.
34:20Well, many of these cities look as bad as Gaza and
34:24worse what's happened to them.
34:26And I want to see that end.
34:28And I want to see it end for one simple reason,
34:31the life of young people being absolutely
34:34obliterated on both sides.
34:35You probably have 700,000 Ukrainian soldiers dead,
34:39800,000, maybe more, Russian soldiers dead.
34:43It's very flat land.
34:45And the only thing that's going to stop a bullet is
34:47a human body, in this case, usually soldiers.
34:51And the numbers are staggering.
34:53When you hear the real numbers in Ukraine, what
34:55the numbers are.
34:56And this doesn't include the cities that have been
34:58demolished and all of the people that were killed.
35:02So I want to see it stopped.
35:03We're having very good talks, and I think we're
35:05going to get it.
35:05I think something will be, hopefully,
35:08dramatically.
35:10It will rise above everything.
35:13You have to.
35:13You can't let this continue.
35:15You can't.
35:16This is an absolute slaughter that's taking
35:19place on the beautiful farmlands of Ukraine, and
35:23we have to stop it.
35:24We can't let this continue.
35:25It's a human.
35:27It's a human.
35:29It is a human tragedy, and we're going to try very
35:32hard to stop it.
35:34Yeah, please.
35:35Go ahead, sir.
35:36Go ahead.
35:36The Press Thank you very much.
35:40Mr. President, what's your view about the
35:43Palestinian leader, Abbas' goal in all the regional
35:46changes you want to do?
35:48And a question for the Prime Minister.
35:49What's your view on President Trump wanting to
35:52reach a deal with Iran and not a much more active
35:55military stance towards him?
35:56The President Go ahead, baby.
35:58Go ahead.
35:58The President I think the President just said
36:01something that I think is the pivot of everything
36:04that we're talking about.
36:06He said Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and we
36:10fully agree with that.
36:11If this goal can be achieved by a maximum
36:13pressure campaign, so be it.
36:16But I think the most important thing is to
36:18focus on the goal, which the President just did,
36:22and I fully agree with it.
36:23The Press Well, I said it, and he said it very well.
36:30It's it's it's a it's a campaign of pressure to
36:34see if we can get something done.
36:37He doesn't want to do what some people think will
36:39automatically happen because they're very
36:41difficult people to deal with, as you know.
36:44But if we could solve this problem without
36:48warfare, without all of the things that you've
36:51been witnessing over the last number of years, it
36:53would be I think it would be a tremendous thing.
36:57Go ahead, please.
36:58Do you have any plans to visit Israel?
37:03So to visit where?
37:06Oh, well, I love I love Israel.
37:08I will visit there and I'll visit Gaza and I'll
37:10visit Saudi Arabia and I'll visit other places
37:14all over the Middle East.
37:15Middle East is an incredible place.
37:17So vibrant.
37:17So so it's just one of the really beautiful places
37:23and with great people.
37:25And I think a lot of bad leadership has taken place
37:28in the Middle East that's allowed this to happen.
37:31It's just terrible.
37:31And that includes on the American side.
37:33By the way, we should have never gone in there a
37:36long time ago, spent trillions of dollars and
37:39created so much death.
37:41So it includes Americans.
37:43But, yeah, I'll be visiting a lot of
37:46different places in the Middle East.
37:48I've been invited everywhere, but I will be
37:50visiting some.
37:51Yeah.
37:51Okay, let's go.
37:55Caitlin, go ahead.
37:56Caitlin, Caitlin, go ahead on what you were saying
37:59there.
38:00Say it.
38:01Go ahead.
38:01Please follow up on what you were saying about the
38:03Gazans leaving Gaza, going to other countries.
38:06One, where exactly are you suggesting that they
38:08should go into?
38:09Are you saying they should return after it's rebuilt?
38:11And if not, who do you envision living there?
38:15I envision the world people living there, the
38:18world's people.
38:20I think you'll make that into an international,
38:23unbelievable place.
38:25I think the potential and the Gaza Strip is
38:27unbelievable.
38:29And I think the entire world representatives from
38:31all over the world will be there and they'll and
38:34they'll live there.
38:35Palestinians also.
38:36Palestinians will live there.
38:37Many people will live there.
38:39But they've tried the other and they've tried it
38:42for decades and decades and decades.
38:45It's not going to work.
38:46It didn't work.
38:46It will never work.
38:48And you have to learn from history.
38:51History has, you know, just can't let it keep
38:54repeating itself.
38:55We have an opportunity to do something that could be
38:59phenomenal.
39:00And I don't want to be cute.
39:02I don't want to be a wise guy.
39:03But the Riviera of the Middle East, this could be
39:06something that could be so bad.
39:07This could be so magnificent.
39:10But more importantly than that is the people that
39:12have been absolutely destroyed that live there
39:15now can live in peace in a much better situation
39:19because they're living in hell.
39:21And those people will now be able to live in peace.
39:24We'll make sure that it's done world class.
39:26It'll be wonderful for the people.
39:28Palestinians, Palestinians, mostly we're talking
39:31about.
39:32And I have a feeling that despite them saying no, I
39:35have a feeling that the king in Jordan and that
39:38the general president, but that the general and
39:42Egypt will open their hearts and will give us
39:45the kind of land that we need to get this done and
39:48people can live in harmony and peace.
39:51Thank you all very much.
39:53Thank you very much.
