00:00The President's Office, New York, July 4, 2015
00:04The greatest dinner I've ever had.
00:06Come on, let's get a good view.
00:09Let's make out.
00:13Great.
00:16I hope they don't know.
00:18I don't know.
00:19You never know.
00:20Hello everybody.
00:22Are you certain?
00:24Is he here or is he not?
00:26I don't know.
00:27Can you tell us what you talked about?
00:29Yes.
00:30Here's Gerald.
00:32We talked about the hostels.
00:34Mr. Prime Minister, could you tell me, Mr. Prime Minister, how Kamala Harris' remarks yesterday
00:40might have impacted negotiations on a ceasefire deal?
00:45Well, we're trying to get one.
00:47And I think to the extent that Hamas understands that there's no daylight between Israel and
00:54the United States, that expedites the deal.
00:58And I hope that those comments don't change that.
01:06Mr. President, do you have any reaction to Kamala Harris' remarks yesterday?
01:09Say it.
01:10Do you have any reaction to Kamala Harris' remarks yesterday after she met with the Prime Minister?
01:14No, I have no remarks.
01:15She's a radical left person.
01:18San Francisco destroyed San Francisco.
01:21She's really a destroyer.
01:23She doesn't know how to build.
01:24And I think her remarks were disrespectful.
01:29They weren't very nice pertaining to Israel.
01:32I actually don't know how a person who's Jewish can vote for her.
01:36But that's up to them.
01:38But she was certainly disrespectful to Israel, in my opinion.
01:42Mr. Trump, has your relationship with the Prime Minister repaired at all?
01:46It was never bad.
01:48I would say it was always good.
01:50No president has done what I've done for Israel.
01:53And we've always had a very good relationship.
01:57And if I didn't, I have a secret weapon.
02:01You know what it is?
02:02Sarah.
02:03Sitting right over here.
02:05I have Sarah.
02:06As long as I have Sarah, that's all that matters.
02:08Do you feel like after this trip, Mr. Prime Minister, we're any closer to a ceasefire deal?
02:12I hope so.
02:13But I think time will tell.
02:15We're certainly eager to have one.
02:17And we're working on it.
02:19Are you sending teams to Rome?
02:21Sorry?
02:22Are you sending teams to Rome to continue those negotiations?
02:24No.
02:25The closest batch to the team.
02:26Probably in the beginning of the week.
02:27Okay.
02:28Can you tell us the status of the hostage negotiation?
02:30I think there's been some movement because of the military pressure that we exerted.
02:36I hope that there will be sufficient movement to get the deal completed.
