00:12Dayan, early on this Wednesday, the Redemptorist Church, known as Simbang Baklaran, was filled with faithful.

00:22At 5.30 in the morning, the Holy Mass began at the well-known Baklaran Church.

00:29Early on, the faithful turned to God.

00:31Many of them are still going to work or school.

00:35They are praying and thanking God.

00:39They are hoping for blessings and guidance in their daily life.

00:42The Baklaran is known as a place where our fellowmen have a strong faith in Jesus Christ,

00:48especially in times of trials.

00:50Not only regular devotees came,

00:53but also some cyclists who went to the Church early to ask for protection on their journey.

00:59Every month, there are six Masses that are held in the morning,

01:02including the one at 5.30 in the morning.

01:04In the afternoon and evening, there will be another six Masses,

01:07where the last Mass is held at 7.30 in the evening.

01:11Aside from the Masses, there are also benedictions that will be held later in the afternoon.

01:16Today, the Catholic Church also commemorates St. Agatha, a Virgin and Martyr.

01:21She was one of the most important witnesses of faith in the first century of Christianity.

01:27She was believed to have died in Italy on February 5.

01:32Despite the severe torture, she remained faithful to God.

01:35Not only the devotees can be seen around the Church,

01:39but also the sellers of various products,

01:42from clothes and household items to rice and fruits.

01:47There are a lot of people who choose to go to the Church.

01:51There is a slowdown in the traffic on the service road in the morning.

01:56There is also a slowdown in Ross Boulevard,

01:59but it is faster on the other side of the road.
