00:00The Philippine Ports Authority has now implemented a no-leave policy as part of the preparations for the arrival of passengers this holiday season.

00:19The Philippine Ports Authority or PPA is now ready for the arrival of passengers this holiday season.
00:25According to PPA Spokesperson Eunice Amonte, 4.5 million passengers are expected to return to the Philippines from December 15 to January 4, 2025.
00:36The highest number of passengers we have seen based on our forecast is on December 22.
00:44That is why the PPA has implemented a no-leave policy to ensure that they will meet the needs of the passengers.
00:52When it comes to our manpower in the ports, we have malasakit helpdesk.
00:58If they have questions regarding their 24-7 travel, the PPA line is open through the Philippine Ports Authority Facebook page.
01:07Security personnel have also been deployed to ensure the safety of the port and passengers.
01:13Passengers are being instructed to plan their trip and book online.
01:18It is advisable for them to pass two hours before going to the port.
01:22Passengers are also being avoided from carrying prohibited items such as sharp objects and flammable materials.
