00:00Aside from training in fishing, the beneficiaries of the Layag-Badjao Program in Jolo, Sulu, also received a scholarship.

00:17The beneficiaries of the Layag-Badjao Program are actively involved in the workshop of Boat Engine Repair and Fishing here in Jolo, Sulu.
00:25And to reach almost 300 beneficiaries, the Ministry of Social Services and Development assigned them two batches for the two-day training.

00:58Aside from training in boat engine repair and fishing, the Layag-Badjao Beneficiaries also joined the Basic Business Management and Financial Literacy Program.
01:09They were also given an MSSD of P15,000 for living expenses and a sack of rice every month.
01:16And to ensure that the government's program will be effective, the MSSD of conditions such as living in the area and non-sale of the aid provided to them was applied.
