00:00Meanwhile, the Philippine Coast Guard continues to search for some ships of China

00:04that remain in our Exclusive Economic Zone.

00:08PCG has a clue as to why the ships of China are returning to the Philippine seas.

00:14We have the first news from Chino Gaston.

00:20In the distance of 34 nautical miles,

00:22China Coast Guard vessels 3104 and 3301 are considered to be the closest to the Philippines.

00:40You do not possess any legal authority to patrol within the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone.

00:52The Chinese vessels were captured by video and photos.

00:55As of now, the ships of China are at 70 to 75 nautical miles from La Union.

01:01PCG has a clue as to why the ships of China are returning to this part of the Exclusive Economic Zone.

01:08Yes, that was the closest that we can say.

01:12This 34 nautical miles is continuous.

01:17We detected that it was close to us, but it never stayed there for a long time.

01:24We believe that China wants to normalize their illegal deployment of China Coast Guard vessels

01:32also within our own Exclusive Economic Zone.

01:35PCG will continue to challenge and if possible,

01:38it will chase the ships of China from the EEZ of the country.

01:43Just like the Chinese monster ship 5901,

01:47which was chased by BRP Teresa Magbanwa from the coastline of Zambales from 50 nautical miles.

01:54For more than 30 days already, our Coast Guard vessels were able to push them away from our coastline.

02:01PCG is adamant that in the face of the aggressive moves of China Coast Guard,

02:06PCG will continue to patrol and guard the sea.

02:12Meanwhile, AFP Northern Luzon Command confirmed

02:16that BRP Jose Rizal of the Philippine Navy

02:20has challenged the three People's Liberation Army Navy warships 57 nautical miles from Bajo de Masinlok.

02:26BRP Rizal also challenged a Guided Missile Junkai II-class frigate.

02:32It is illegal for planned warships to remain in Bajo de Masinlok

02:36and to violate international law and destroy the peace and stability of the region.

02:43The Chinese Foreign Ministry previously said that the deployment of their ships

02:47in their so-called territory is in accordance with their law and international law.
