Drake probably didn't see this as God's plan ... Kendrick Lamar rubbed the success of "Not Like Us" in his face last night ... taking home five Grammys for the record, and even saw an excited Taylor Swift and Beyoncé on their feet as the hit targeting the Canadian rapper was blasted.

00:00So, Salt, meet Drake's wound because the two came together last night courtesy of Kendrick
00:09Lamar and NotLikeUs.
00:10Yes, Kendrick Lamar and his five Grammy wins last night.
00:14He was nominated in five categories, won all five, clean sweep, and the biggest one of
00:20all, probably he won for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
00:24When he won for Record of the Year, it created a moment, a moment that we know for a fact
00:30Drake is terrified of, does not want to see play out because he mentioned it in his lawsuit
00:36over this, over NotLikeUs.
00:39And he was worried about it happening at the Super Bowl.
00:41And we're talking about the reference to being a pedophile.
00:46And Drake is suing over that, saying it was defamatory.
00:49And everybody's wondering, is it going to happen at the Super Bowl?
00:52I think the answer now is yes.
00:53Yeah, because it happened last night.
00:57Just watch and listen to the crowd as Kendrick is walking up on stage to accept the Record
01:03of the Year.
01:04And the timing of this whole thing is weird.
01:06Just watch the way it plays out.
01:09NotLikeUs, Kendrick Lamar.
01:23He slow-walked this.
01:51So that lyric would be front and center as he accepted the award.
01:55As he accepted, the whole crowd is yelling, A minor, like, boy, it does seem like he took
02:01his time for a purpose.
02:03He was calculating in his head, like, how many people do I have to hug real quick before
02:07he gets up to the stage?
02:09Four people.
02:10He didn't even know two of them.
02:12It's definitely not.
02:14I mean, it's so calculated.
02:19By the way, it is a huge statement, when you think about it, that the lawsuit, which is
02:24not against him, it's against the record label.
02:28But still, the fact that he feels emboldened not to shy away from it in the face of a lawsuit,
02:34that is really interesting.
02:35He didn't shy away, and the Grammys didn't shy away.
02:38And the Grammys didn't shy away.
02:39And CBS didn't shy away.
02:40I was shocked.
02:41In airing it, I thought they would censor it, that it would play, but it would be censored.
02:46Totally.
02:47I thought CBS would, you know, they've got, like, air on the side of caution.
02:51Absolutely.
02:52I was shocked they didn't do that.
02:53And it was very deliberate, because they didn't start playing it from the chorus.
02:56Every time a song wins a Grammy, they start playing the chorus, the most recognizable
03:00part.
03:01They went right into the verses, because they knew that's what they were going to get.
03:03Because this is good for the Grammys, it's good for Kendrick, it's terrible for Drake.
03:07So now, Fox is running the Super Bowl.
03:10So now Fox has got to be looking at CBS saying, oh, they let it go.
03:15So if we don't, we're going to look weak.
03:18So I think that put a ton of pressure on Fox.
03:21Except that Fox is, well, the NFL is mentioned in Drake's lawsuit, where they, he accuses
03:27the label of basically pressuring the NFL to take Kendrick Lamar.
03:32That's true.
03:33But you're republishing it if you're playing it on CBS, and CBS did it.
03:37I just think it puts more pressure on Fox to make it happen.
03:40Oh, yeah.
03:41Jamie from Kentucky.
03:42I don't know when was this when historic, but when he walks on stage to the, it's striked
03:46a chord, but it's probably A minor.
03:48That's not just a reference to minors.
03:50The A minor keys are actually all the white keys on the keyboard.
03:53So that is a dysthysmic phrase.
03:55Oh, that's interesting.
03:56I never thought of that.
03:57Wow, thank you.
03:58That's really interesting.
03:59Excellent.
