The number of flood evacuees in Sarawak decreased to 9,312 who are sheltered at 41 temporary relief centres as of 4pm on Monday (Feb 3). Meanwhile in Sabah, the number of evacuees rose slightly to 208 from 57 families.

00:12Authorities said Bintulu, Serian, Sibu and Samarahan were among the affected areas that recorded a decline.
00:20However, the number of evacuees in Miri and Muka saw a slight increase.
00:25The Malaysian Meteorological Department has issued a continuous rain advisory for eight districts with rainfall expected until Wednesday.

00:4033 relief centres remain operational across nine districts.
