00:00Good evening, I'm Rob McLeary from the Boathouse in Chichester Marina. Welcome this evening.
00:11This is the first of many nights that we're planning on doing now down at the Boathouse.
00:16We're kicking off on a vegan night. So we've done a three-course menu, three choices, all vegan,
00:22just tying in with the last of veganery. But as I said, it is the start of many themed nights
00:28that we plan to do down here. So we've got lots of ideas planned up, especially outside when we've
00:34got the most beautiful weather. Down by the sea, we've got lots of fish nights lined up,
00:40mussel nights, pizza nights and things like that. But we are an all-day operation, traditionally.
00:47In the winter months we do close a little bit earlier in the evening. But I would say we're
00:53trying to be a restaurant that appeals to everyone. We've got light bites, we've got snacks,
00:59we've got a fish finger sandwich and then if you want something more like fish and chips or mussels,
01:04we're just trying to, you know, you can come down and chill out, free parking for two hours I believe,
01:10which is always a win-win. And then you've got the sea, where you can normally see it.
01:14It's a bit dark out there tonight. It's just a cool place to sit and chill out and eat some nice food
01:21that we're really pushing for the locals. So we're teaming up with a lot of local suppliers now
01:28to showcase what Sussex has to offer. So yeah, like I say, we're trying to appeal to everyone
01:35and just keep an eye out on our socials. Like I said, we've got all these different events that are coming up.
01:40We're going to host one once a month, ideally a Thursday evening. They're going to change,
01:47they're going to be different and yeah, this is the first of many.
