00:00Kenzie and Michael have not done skating before, so they had a little challenge getting used to it.
00:07Hey, hello and welcome to Watch Mojo Español. I am G, and today you will know the most notorious programs that were removed from the air due to some kind of reaction.
00:17Now I'll have to go... STAAAATCH!
00:23Number 20. Flip It Forward, canceled by controversial beliefs.
00:29When the show was taken from us, our major concern right out of the gate was we have six families that came to us to learn how to flip houses. They purchased houses.
00:39David and Jason Benham are two conservative Christians from the southeast of the United States.
00:44After playing in the minor baseball leagues, they became real estate agents and created their own company, attracting the attention of HGTV.
00:53They hoped to launch an improvement program called Flip It Forward, but the project was canceled before it started.
00:59He never wants to get his hands dirty.
01:01The progressive group People for the American Way published a report condemning David Benham for his extremist opinions and actions.
01:10Among others, he has made homophobic, anti-Muslim comments, has protested against abortion clinics, and has tried to ban marriage between people of the same sex in North Carolina.
01:21HGTV canceled the program of the brothers the next day of the publication of the report.
01:27But when all of this media firestorm happened around some of my comments, it was too much for them to bear and they had to make a business decision.
01:35Number 19. All My Baby's Mamas, canceled by the premise.
01:40My show is about me and what's going on in my life for real.
01:44Another program has not been broadcasted. All My Baby's Mamas was marketed as an intimate look at unconventional families with huge personalities. What a way to say it.
01:55The show was basically going to be about me showing how I deal with my 11 kids and my 10 baby mothers.
02:01The Oxygen series was going to follow the late rapper Shawty Love, who was the father of 11 children with 10 different women.
02:08The basic premise was highly criticized. Some argued that it fell into the negative stereotype of the black community, while others claimed that it romanticized intimate relationships with multiple couples.
02:19In short, no one found it very funny. Immediately a petition was created to cancel the program, and they did it when Oxygen decided to stop producing it.
02:35Number 18. Heathers, canceled by delicate themes.
02:39Ok, I'm done. Let's just post it and get out of here.
02:41Not so fast. We have to take it from an angle so that it looks like a selfie.
02:47The cancellation of Heathers is a perfect and incredibly sad symbol of how times have changed.
02:53The Paramount series was a reboot of the 1989 homonymous film, which followed Veronica, the head of the school's students group,
03:01and a marginal who proposed to kill popular students and destroy their school.
03:06What could be considered a black comedy in 1989 was unfortunately too real in 2018.
03:22The series was delayed from its original broadcast date in the United States after the attack on the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Institute in February,
03:30and was completely canceled after the incident of the Santa Fe Institute in May.
03:34It was finally aired on American television after an international premiere, but the episodes were edited and condensed to a large extent.
03:42There was no second season.
03:50Number 17. To Catch a Predator, canceled because a goal was taken from life.
04:01Although it did not last long, To Catch a Predator was quite popular.
04:07Presented by Chris Hansen, adults made minors go online, organized an undercover operation and trapped predators who agreed to meet the minor.
04:17When he arrived at the predetermined place, he was received by Hansen, and usually detained by the police.
04:31One of the objectives of the program was Lewis Bill Conrad, a district attorney who exchanged incriminating photos with an undercover agent.
04:38He took his life after the police gave him a warrant.
04:42The way the case was handled was highly criticized, and Conrad's heirs sued NBC for an unrevealed sum.
04:50The series was canceled shortly after.
05:00Number 16. Playmakers, canceled by the NFL pressure.
05:17In 2003, ESPN wanted to enter the original dramatic programming with Playmakers, which followed a fictional football team called the Cougars.
05:26It was a huge success for the network and became its most popular program outside of college football and the NFL.
05:33But in the end, it was the NFL itself that put an end to it.
05:38You think about your footwork, your release point, your follow through.
05:44And just when you think it can't get any worse, playbook for New York.
05:50The league did not see with good eyes that the program represented the football or the personal life of the players, especially when it comes to controversial issues such as the consumption of substances and legal matters.
06:01Executive Vice President Mark Shapiro said,
06:04We are not looking to become enemies with our partner, and had the program canceled after its first season.
06:21Number 15. Megan Wants a Millionaire, canceled because a contestant murdered his wife.
06:32Desirous of being a trophy wife, Megan Hauserman became the presenter of Megan Wants a Millionaire, in which 17 rich men competed to be her husband.
06:42One of them was Ryan Jenkins, who finally came in third place.
06:46After being eliminated from the program, he met the swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore and married her.
06:52But on August 15, 2009, with the program still in the air, Fiore was found dead near a container in Buena Park.
07:01Jenkins was last identified Wednesday, leaving his water ski boat in Point Roberts, Washington, and was assumed to have crossed into his native Canada.
07:09The program was suspended out of respect for Fiore's family and allegedly the afflicted Jenkins.
07:14But five days later, it was announced that he was accused of murdering his wife.
07:19The program was canceled immediately and Jenkins took his life to escape justice.
07:24I'm not going to get physical, I don't want to hurt you.
07:26That would not turn out well for you.
07:31Number 14. Clown High. Canceled due to an offensive representation.
07:41Clown High, a cult classic by Bill Lord, Christopher Miller and Bill Lawrence, is about a school full of clowns who follow the model of famous historical characters.
07:50One of them is Mahatma Gandhi, represented as a partygoer resented by the popularity of his father-clown.
08:02He's got you pegged, Kennedy.
08:05Unfortunately, this representation was very controversial in Gandhi's native India, and more than 100 people organized a protest in the country in front of the Baiacom branch.
08:14One of the protesters was Gandhi's great-grandson, Tushar.
08:17MTV canceled the program shortly after, and although a revival was broadcast in 2023, Gandhi is no longer there.
08:24Joan, we've lost all control! I'm trying to break the conga line from within, but it's too powerful!
08:30Number 13. Locke. Canceled due to numerous horse deaths.
08:43This HBO drama had a powerful cast.
08:46It was starring Dustin Hoffman, directed by Michael Mann and created by David Milch, after the success of Deadwood.
08:54Set in the world of horse racing, Locke used 50 horses trained in production, but 3 did not come out alive.
09:05Two died during the filming of the first season, after being euthanized after breaking their legs.
09:11A third horse died during the production of the second season, which led HBO to suspend the filming while an investigation was underway.
09:19They found that it was impossible to guarantee the safety of the horses and canceled the series.
09:33Number 12. Kid Nation. Canceled due to abuse complaints.
09:38It is a hard decision, but giving Gold Stars away, it has to do with who's a hard worker, and I think Nathan just works his butt off.
09:45This experiment, very much like The Lord of the Flies, brought together 40 children.
09:50He put them in a film ranch in New Mexico and said they would try to create a functional society without the supervision of an adult, or at least with little supervision.
09:59It's a fun idea, but the program was involved in controversy, especially for the treatment they gave to the participants.
10:06Here you go, Taylor. 25 cents each. And laborers, there's just a little bit of money here, Laurel, sorry.
10:12The contract forced them to be available 24 hours a day, which apparently violated some labor laws in New Mexico.
10:20Security problems also arose, as one child had burns from fat, and another apparently drank chlorine, although they were immediately attended to by medical personnel on set.
10:30To this, we must add the conditions of health and hygiene, since the 40 were forced to share a single bathroom.
10:38As expected, the series was canceled after a single season.
10:52Number 11. Sons of Guns. Canceled because the presenter was arrested.
11:00It could be unstable enough that static electricity could set it off.
11:04After serving in the Marines, Will Hayden opened a gun store called Red Jacket Firearms, which attracted the attention of Discover Channel, which created a program called Sons of Guns.
11:15This followed Hayden and his family while attending the premises and the needs of their clients, creating unique firearms and showing them to the camera.
11:24I know the Colons are going to be happy with the work we've done. I think we're going to have a nice long relationship with them.
11:30But the series was canceled after the fifth season, when Hayden was arrested for sexual abuse and aggression against minors.
11:36He was finally sentenced to two life sentences. His sentence also prevents him from obtaining conditional freedom, which means that he will spend the rest of his life in prison.
11:47I had an 89-year-old woman.
11:50I love that show! Your daughter is so sweet! You be nice to her, she keeps you going.
11:57Number 10. The O'Reilly Factor. Canceled for misconduct allegations.
12:02How the Obamacare brawl affects you, and that is the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo.
12:09The O'Reilly Factor, a political interview program starring conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly, aired for more than two decades on Fox News.
12:17However, this long trajectory came to an end in April 2017, when The New York Times reported that O'Reilly and Fox News had reached an agreement for five sexual harassment lawsuits, which date back 15 years.
12:32More than half of the sponsors of The O'Reilly Factor withdrew their support after the accusations, and the presenter was fired from Fox News on April 19.
12:42The program continued for three episodes without him, before officially ending on April 21, 2017.
12:49I've worked for 12 companies. Not one time did I have any interaction with HR or any complaints filed against me.
12:57Number 9. CeeLo Green's The Good Life. Cancelled for offensive tweets.
13:02Good morning, T!
13:04CeeLo Green's The Good Life was a reality show that aired for only six episodes on TBS, starring everyone's favorite R&B artist, CeeLo Green.
13:15It sounds charming and cool, right? Well, he was everyone's favorite R&B artist, and then the tweets came.
13:23While he declared himself innocent of forcing a woman to take an illicit substance, he vented on Twitter and insinuated that only conscious people can be sexually assaulted.
13:34His show was immediately canceled by TBS, and although a source claimed that it was only due to low ratings, the timing was extremely suspicious.
13:45In that case, good night.
13:47Number 8. House of Cards. Cancelled for misconduct accusations.
13:52It's the Horton's dog. It's not gonna make it.
13:56House of Cards was once the star show on Netflix, but in October 2017, actor Anthony Rapp accused star Kevin Spacey of an unwanted sexual advance when he was still a teenager in 1986.
14:09Just 12 hours later, Netflix announced that they would cancel House of Cards, and the next season of 2018 would be the last.
14:17A few days later, they also announced that they would break all ties with Kevin Spacey, so he would not appear in the last season.
14:24Although some sources claim that Netflix had decided to put an end to House of Cards before Rapp's accusation, many doubt the authenticity of these statements.
14:34I think you're doing the right thing.
14:36Number 7. Politically Incorrect. Cancelled for a political controversy.
14:41Hi, I'm Bill Maher, and this is Politically Incorrect.
14:44Who would have thought that a show called Politically Incorrect would be canceled for being politically incorrect?
14:50In an episode just a week after the 11S, presenter Bill Maher and guest Minesh D'Souza generated controversy by arguing that terrorists were brave warriors and that American soldiers were cowards for launching cruise missiles at 3,000 kilometers away.
15:07We have been the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That's cowardly.
15:14Staying in the airplane when it hits the building. Say what you want about it, not cowardly.
15:19Sponsors quickly withdrew their support, and the network had a lot of trouble finding companies to finance the show.
15:26It was canceled the following June, and although ABC claims that it was due to poor ratings, Maher and others directly blamed the controversy after the 11S.
15:36I mean, wouldn't it be easy for the president to get on and say to Mr. Bin Laden, here are your points, let me tell you why you're full of crap.
15:43Number 6. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Cancelled for abuse allegations.
15:48I am Honey Boo Boo Chan, I am a part of Christmas time.
15:52This was one of those shows that enchanted an entire nation and gave their protagonists their 15 minutes of fame, in addition to leaving them a lot of money.
16:00In August 2014, 48 episodes and 7 specials had been aired, and it was becoming one of the most popular in the network, but it was canceled the following October,
16:11after it was revealed that the matriarch June Shannon was dating the man allegedly responsible for abusing his own daughter 10 years ago.
16:20He did this to me. Why would you let him come around the girls knowing what he did?
16:25A full season was not aired, and Here Comes Honey Boo Boo quickly fell into oblivion.
16:31Number 5. Charlie Rose. Cancelled for abuse allegations.
16:36I am pleased to have him on this program. Welcome.
16:40Charlie Rose was a program in which the presenter interviewed writers, politicians, entrepreneurs, artists and scientists.
16:47It was syndicated by PBS for more than 25 years, until it was quickly canceled in November 2017, after Rose was accused of inappropriate sexual behavior.
16:59Charlie is brilliant and kind and talented, and he is also a predator and has some abusive qualities about himself. It's possible to be more than one thing.
17:09Bloomberg, television and PBS announced immediately that they suspended the series and removed the air broadcasts.
17:17The next day, they canceled the distribution of the series and broke ties with Rose.
17:22Number 4. Louie. Cancelled for abuse allegations.
17:27I'm 41 and I'm single. Not really single, just alone.
17:33Louie was one of the most acclaimed comedies by critics of the last decade.
17:38But in November 2017, The New York Times published a report on sexual abuse allegations against C.K.
17:46According to the women in the report, they had asked to be watched during intimate, inappropriate situations.
17:53Although C.K. denied the rumors initially, he admitted his transgressions after the publication of the Times report.
18:00Louie had been on a prolonged break after the conclusion of the fifth season, but FX broke all ties with C.K. after the accusations and put an end to the series.
18:15Number 3. Roseanne. Cancelled for a racist tweet.
18:19What happened?
18:20I thought you were dead.
18:22Roseanne Barr achieved something that most television stars can only dream of.
18:27Her popular comedy came back 20 years after the initial conclusion. She received good reviews, although disparate.
18:33It was a huge success among the audience and then it was ruined.
18:37Barr used Twitter to make a very negative comment about Obama's main advisor, Valerie Jarrett.
18:44Roseanne, you're not going to believe this, but she tweeted something outrageous.
18:50I know, yeah, right.
18:52The tweet obviously generated a lot of indignation and ABC quickly canceled Roseanne.
18:57They declared that their comments were abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with their values.
19:02Yes, it's a way of saying it.
19:05And it's interesting that ABC holds a higher standard to their employees than apparently the White House does.
19:11Number 2. 19 Kids and Counting. Cancelled for abuse accusations.
19:21Like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, 19 Kids and Counting was a success for TLC, which strangely captivated fans and generated a lot of hatred towards its protagonists.
19:33This show followed the devoted Duggar family, which included Jim Bob and Michelle's parents, and their 19 children.
19:40However, in 2015 a terrible secret was revealed.
19:44In Touch Weekly, a police report from 2006 revealed that the eldest son, Josh Duggar, had behaved inappropriately with several girls, including some of his sisters, while they slept.
19:58Many sponsors withdrew their support, and TLC quickly canceled the show.
20:03Hey, we're not done yet, but almost.

20:12You will surely like them.
20:14Now, let's go to the end.
20:17Number 1. Paula's Best Dishes. Cancelled for racist comments.
20:28The famous chef Paula Deen, known for her delicious southern cuisine, had a long and successful story on Food Network.
20:35Her first show, Paula's Home Cooking, premiered in 2002, and was followed by Paula's Party and Paula's Best Dishes.
20:43However, she got into trouble when she admitted during a court hearing that she had preferred racist insults.
20:49Food Network didn't take long to act.
20:51She broke ties with Deen and decided not to renew her contract.
20:55So they canceled the show and put an end to their long relationship with the Queen of Butter.
21:08What other shows were canceled due to external problems?
