00:00Welcome to Watch Mojo Español, I am Jackie and today you will know the surprises and revelations
00:11more unexpected in television series, obviously many spoilers are coming.
00:24Number 30, Bob Hartley's dream, New Hart Although you have never seen New Hart, maybe
00:29you already know this final twist, the protagonist Dick Loudon expresses his frustration with
00:35his eccentric companions and a golf ball hits him, then we see him wake up, or rather
00:49we see that Bob Hartley, the previous character of Bob Newhart in The Bob Newhart Show, awakens,
00:56his wife Emily, played by Suzanne Plachet, also makes a cameo, Bob describes the events
01:03of the program as a strange dream, in the final credits they even use the theme of
01:16The Bob Newhart Show, there have been many endings like Everything was a dream, but the
01:22ending of New Hart is especially memorable for its ironic nature.
01:31Number 29, who killed Lila, How to get away with murder There are several surprising murders
01:38during the inaugural season of this legal thriller, but the one that started it all
01:43is that of Lila Stanford, for most of the time the characters and the public are convinced
01:49that the murderer was Sam, husband of the protagonist Annalise Keating, since he cheated
01:55on her with Lila, and they were right, more or less, instead of killing her himself when
02:06she wants to reveal her pregnancy, Sam orders the investigator of Annalise, Frank Delfino,
02:12to do it, how do you get rid of a murder, you ask someone else to do it for you.
02:23Number 28, John Doe, Grey's Anatomy This medical drama has had many twists during
02:29its time in the air, and one of the most surprising is at the end of the fifth season, the resident
02:36George O'Malley has his last day in the hospital before enlisting in the army, meanwhile a
02:45bus rolls a man after he saves a woman, leaving the victim unrecognizable and unable to speak.
03:00Since all doctors debate if they could be so charitable, Meredith is surprised when
03:06she discovers that the unidentified man is George, the surprising revelation makes his
03:13death shortly after even more tragic.
03:16Number 27, the true identity of the Orca, Star Trek Discovery, Star Trek does not usually
03:23tell stories in series, but when it dares, it shows fantastic twists, the Discovery
03:28is trapped in the mirror universe, and Captain Gabriel Orca and Michael Burnham infiltrate
03:34the Empress's ship pretending to be her homologues from the mirror universe, however
03:46after revealing his identity to the Empress and George, Michael notes that like his captain,
03:52the inhabitants of the mirror universe have sensitivity to light, all the clues fit and
04:04he realizes that the Orca is not from his universe, but from the mirror universe, it is a great twist
04:10because the clues were obvious, but we needed this moment to make sense of it.
04:22Number 26 was Wanda, WandaVision, look, we love as much as everyone else the revelation
04:28that Agatha Karkness is manipulating things and the song that accompanies it, but after all,
04:41she only took advantage of the situation, I do not believe it, it is even more surprising
04:45when in a retrospective episode we find out that the curse that trapped the city
04:50of Westview and all its inhabitants was created by the protagonist Wanda Maximoff.
05:01It is quite impressive to discover that our heroine is actually responsible for
05:07keeping all the people trapped in her television fantasy, of course there were clues but we all
05:13imagined that she was being manipulated by some external force.
05:22Number 25, Dr. Manhattan, Watchmen, although this series and the comic in which it is based have
05:29superheroes, the only super powerful of the franchise is absent in most of the series,
05:34or so they make us believe, during this episode, Lady True reveals that Dr. Manhattan,
05:40the superman with nuclear energy, is disguised as a person in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
05:53Angela Abar is not surprised by this revelation, but the audience is certainly
05:59when she returns home and hits her husband Cal with a hammer,
06:03the object that takes him out of his head and the blue glow left everyone speechless.
06:20Number 24, Peter is not from here, Fringe, in addition to being one of the most underestimated
06:25science fiction series in history, Fringe has incredible twists, at the end of the first
06:31season the antagonist David Robert Jones tries to open a door to an alternative universe,
06:43and of course that Olivia crosses two parallel twin towers is a huge twist, but when we discover
06:50that the grave that Walter Bishop has been visiting is the grave of his apparently alive son,
06:55Peter, well, left us speechless, there is more than one of everything, and of all.
07:02Number 23, Chuck is back, Supernatural, after the prophet Chuck Shirley disappeared in the air,
07:12the fans created several theories about where he was, there were many threads on the subject in the forums,
07:19it was not until six seasons later when they finally gave us an answer,
07:26the prophet of God and writer of the books of Supernatural finally reappears when the
07:31ex-angel Metatron finds him in a bar, after a debate about Chuck's lack of talent to write,
07:43he gives Metatron some glasses and turns on the divine light, revealing that he is actually God,
07:52and of course some predicted it in the aforementioned threads, but that did not prevent
07:57most of us from reacting like Sam and Dean when they found out.
08:05Number 22, the killer Charlotte, the world-famous detective rarely
08:11makes a mistake, but sometimes a mistake almost costs her life, when she meets Charles
08:17Augustus Magnusson, a well-known blackmailer, Charlotte discovers that they are aiming at her
08:23with a gun, recognizes the perfume of the person and assumes that it is Lady Smallwood,
08:34however, she turns out to be the pregnant wife of Dr. Watson Mary, she even shoots him and almost
08:41kills him. If Sherlock Holmes did not see it coming, neither did we, luckily he survives and
08:50manages to get the wife of his best friend to tell him the truth. Number 21, who betrayed the brothers,
09:01Succession, the three brothers Roy rarely agree on something, but at the end of the third
09:08season they finally came together to overcome their authoritarian father Logan, in a
09:13purchase proposal from the company. However, in a last-minute twist, Logan reveals that his
09:23modified divorce conditions cancel his votes, frustrates his plans and allows him to keep his
09:29share. In the final moments of the episode, Logan cheerfully greets Sheep's husband Tom,
09:37suddenly she realizes that the man she has despised so much, he betrayed them with his father,
09:42there are few depths in which the characters do not sink, but this betrayal took us by surprise.
09:54Number 20, the twisted neck woman, The Haunting of Hill House, who was going to say that a simple
10:01story of a haunted house would have one of the biggest plot twists of the decade of
10:062010. This acclaimed Netflix series had little to do with its origin material,
10:17so each development of the story was exciting and unpredictable, including the twisted neck woman.
10:24Little Nell is tormented by a ghost who seems to have suffered a neck fracture, hence her
10:30horrible name. In the present, Nell, mentally destroyed, visits Hill House and without realizing it,
10:38she hangs herself during an idyllic vision. As she falls, she travels through time and discovers the
10:46horrible truth, she is the twisted neck woman and has been tormenting herself for decades.
10:57This subplot is the most depressing and horrible of all.
11:01Number 19, Violet, American Horror Story Murder House. Several years before Hill House and the
11:08twisted neck woman, American Horror Story used a similar trick with its protagonist Violet,
11:14in the sixth episode she tries to take her life by taking a handful of sleeping pills,
11:20but Tate avoids it by forcing her to vomit. Four episodes later, Violet cannot leave the house,
11:37almost as if her spirit was trapped. It is then when Tate reveals the truth and
11:43shows her her own rotting corpse. It turns out that Violet was successful in her attempt and now
11:57she is a ghost. Number 18, Jump in Time, This is Us. The pilot of this NBC drama is about
12:10four people who are 36 years old, there is Jack, Rebecca's husband and future stepfather,
12:17Kate who is trying to lose weight, Randall, a high-powered business man who was abandoned
12:23at a fire station when he was a baby, and Kevin, the disillusioned star of a series
12:29that decides to give up during a recording. Almost at the end of the episode, the four
12:38stories come together through an ingenious jump in time. We learn that Jack's story is from 1980,
12:51that Kate and Kevin are the adult children of Jack and Rebecca, and that Randall is his adoptive son,
12:57seeing this we knew from the beginning that This is Us would not be a traditional family drama.
13:03Number 17, El Pollo, M.A.S.H. In the stellar ending of this series, Hawkeye goes to therapy
13:10for a nervous breakdown. He recounts having been on a bus with a group of refugees and having
13:15forced a woman to keep her chicken quiet while an enemy patrol was passing by. However, he
13:21painfully remembers that he was actually a baby and that his mother had suffocated him to death
13:28, which caused his mental collapse. M.A.S.H. was never afraid to address dark topics and this
13:37twist turned out to be the worst of all. It is one of the most disturbing and emotional scenes
13:42in the history of television, and everything was a complete surprise.
13:47Number 16, The Ice Truck Killer, Dexter. Dexter talks about a serial killer who
13:53has a day-to-day job as a blood splatter analyst for the Miami Police Department.
14:09In the first season, Dexter chases the killer of the ice truck, who leaves several corpses in
14:15places related to his past. At the end of the first season, we find out that his biological brother
14:22Brian Moser, were separated after being found in a container full of blood, the same event
14:36that traumatized them permanently and for which they became murderers.
14:41Unlike Dexter, Brian did not have a father figure that would help him control his impulses.
14:54This puts in question the concepts of nature and breeding, and shows that killing is in the
15:00protagonist's blood. Number 15, The Truth About Earth,
15:05Battlestar Galactica. This twist reminds us of the famous revelation of the Statue of Liberty at the
15:11end of The Planet of the Apes, and it is almost as shocking. During the previous 4 seasons,
15:23Galactica was looking for the legendary Colony 13, also known as Earth. While the other 12
15:29colonies were destroyed by the Cylons, the enigmatic colony was still the last hope of
15:35the survival of humanity. After searching for it for 4 seasons and more than 60 episodes,
15:48the fleet finally reaches Earth, but they discover that it is a sterile and radioactive dump. It is
15:55an unexpected twist, especially after the happiness of discovery and one of the most unexpected and
16:02disturbing revelations on television. Number 14, Sydney in Hong Kong, Alias.
16:07In 2004, J.J. Abrams would change television forever with the premiere of Lost,
16:14but 3 years earlier he created another series full of twists known as Alias.
16:19This one is about Sydney Bristow, played by Jennifer Garner, a double agent who works for
16:28the CIA. Although the series is full of brilliant twists, the best is at the end of the second
16:33season when Sydney wakes up alone in Hong Kong. She doesn't remember how she got there and when she
16:48meets Bowne, who is now married, she finds out that she has been missing for 2 years and
16:53given to death. It is the style of Cliffhanger for which Abrams has become famous and managed
17:05to get millions of viewers to die of desire to see the third season.
17:18Number 13, who shot Mr. Burns? The Simpsons. The long-standing cartoon of Matt Groening is not
17:39well known for having intriguing arguments, but everything changed in the spring of 1995
17:45when an unknown attacker shot Mr. Burns. Although the episode intended to parody the
18:06concept of the 1980 Dallas series, the fans of The Simpsons really got involved in the mystery
18:12and it became a phenomenon as great as the feeling of the character of J.R.
18:17They blamed both Smithers and Homero, until Burns revealed that it had actually been Maggie,
18:28who may or may not have shot him on purpose. The revelation made clear the previous clues,
18:42and although the screenwriters of the episode Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein did not trust the
18:48revelation, since then it has become a historical fact on television.
18:53Number 12, Carl, The Walking Dead. The Walking Dead is well known for killing
19:17indiscriminately the main characters, which continues until well into its eighth season.
19:26During the sixth episode, a group of zombies attack Carl and Cedric as they walk through the
19:33forest. Apparently they end up unharmed, but Carl seems stunned. At the end of the season they reveal
19:46that they bit him in the stomach during a fight, thus sealing his fate.
19:59It is not only impressive in the context of the series, but it also
20:04separates a lot from the original material, in which Carl is still alive.
20:08The revelation took the viewers by surprise, the veteran readers and even the actor Chandler
20:20Riggs. Number 11, Ben, Scraps. This episode of the third season is widely considered one
20:27of the best of Scraps, and much of that recognition is due to the end.
20:38Cox is harassed by his ex-brother-in-law Ben, who neglects the follow-up of his leukemia.
20:48While Cox is out of the hospital, a patient dies of a heart attack and the doctor
20:54enters an obvious depression. At the end of the episode we find out that the patient was Ben,
21:03and that Cox had simply been imagining him to face his unexpected death.
21:08The whole routine. Where do you think we are?
21:17The revelation itself, with Ben suddenly disappearing from our sight,
21:21is disturbing and beautiful, and seeing Cox process the truth is one of the
21:28most emotional moments of the series. Number 10, Tommy's imagination, St. Elsewhere.
21:34One of the most famous or infamous endings in television history is St. Elsewhere.
21:52St. Elsewhere was a typical medical drama that aired on NBC during the 80s.
21:57Nothing was really out of the ordinary until the end.
22:05The final scene reveals that the events of St. Elsewhere were imagined by an autistic child
22:13named Tommy. This clarification comes out of nowhere and renews the concept of
22:18everything was a dream, enough to be original.
22:34The quality of this twist will always be divisive, some qualify it as a unique and notable change
22:41for its time, while others qualify it as cheap and meaningless, but one thing is certain,
22:47no one expected it. Number 9, The Bad Place, The Good Place.
22:52The Good Place is an excellent comedy that deals with several deceased people who are
22:59in a utopia similar to heaven, conveniently called The Good Place, or not?
23:04At the end of the first season, Eleanor comes to the surprising conclusion that The Good Place
23:10is actually an experimental version of The Bad Place, and that the characters were sent there
23:16to torture each other.
23:18They're never gonna call a train to take us to The Bad Place. They can't, because we're already here.
23:26Like all good plot twists, this revelation is not only surprising,
23:31but it completely changes the series and makes you question everything you've already seen,
23:36understood and analyzed before, and think that one of the biggest twists of modern television
23:42is that of a comedy.
23:44They...
23:45They know this is The Bad Place. Eleanor figured it out.
23:49Number 8, Loyalty, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
23:52During the first season, we were made to believe that Grant Ward was a devoted member of S.H.I.E.L.D.,
23:58however, the truth is revealed in episode 17.
24:01I want to see him suffer.
24:06Don't mind the company, and I can always use a man of your skills.
24:09Throughout the episode, S.H.I.E.L.D. tries to frustrate an internal uprising of Hydra agents.
24:15Everything seems to be heading towards a happy ending.
24:18Ward and Skype finally kiss.
24:21Hydra infiltrators are arrested, and Garrett is going to be executed.
24:26What do you think, Agent Ward?
24:28You shot the wrong clairvoyant before.
24:32Care to shoot the right one?
24:33But when he has the opportunity, Ward kills Victoria Hand in cold blood,
24:38and releases Garrett, thus revealing his true loyalty to Hydra.
24:44It's a fantastic twist that put the final stroke to an already great episode,
24:49and we can't wait to see what's next.
24:52Number 7, River's Identity, Doctor Who.
24:56Presented in the fourth season, River Sang was a mysterious woman who apparently
25:01could travel back in time with the Doctor.
25:03Then you may kiss the bride.
25:05I'll make her a good woman.
25:07You better.
25:25But that means...
25:25I'm afraid it does.
25:30But you and I, we, we, we, we, uh...
25:33Yes.
25:37It's me.
25:45I'm Melody.
25:49I'm your daughter.
26:01Number 6, Bernard, Westworld.
26:04In many ways, Westworld is today's Lost,
26:08balancing an intriguing drama between characters with endless mysteries, twists and surprises.
26:23Some twists are exaggerated and confusing, even for the most assertive fans,
26:29but some work brilliantly,
26:31like the revelation that Bernard is a host.
26:41The truth is revealed in episode 7.
26:44Bernard can't see the door that leads to the secret laboratory,
26:47since it was programmed to ignore it.
26:50Westworld achieved a brilliant trick.
27:01I had no idea this room was here.
27:20Doesn't look like anything to me.
27:23I cannot see the things that will hurt them.
27:27I've spared them that.
27:32I will never leave you.
27:35I will always be right here.
27:37Do you understand that?
27:44Elliot, who are you talking to?
28:02Elliot, you know you haven't been staying with your mother, right?
28:11I know.
28:31Number 4, Walt and Brock, Breaking Bad.
29:02And what was it?
29:04He said it was most likely a flower called Lily of the Valley.
29:31I won.
30:32This twist is now legendary,
30:34like the famous reaction videos of the viewers,
30:38which show absolute disbelief at the events on screen.
30:47If there is anything Game of Thrones will be remembered for,
30:50it is for the red wedding commotion.
30:56Number 2, the advances, Lost.
30:59Lost is known for its twists,
31:01but none were as significant as the one that closed the third season.
31:06In the episode, we see Jack, bearded and depressed,
31:09while he fights against substance use disorder and dark thoughts.
31:14Although viewers thought it was another flashback,
31:17it actually turns out to be an advance that shows that he and Kate left the island.
31:30Everyone talked about this twist that completely rekindled the interest in the series.
31:40Now it is considered one of the best in television history,
31:44and the phrase, we have to go back, was recorded in popular culture.
31:54We haven't reached the end yet, but we're almost there.
31:57Don't forget to subscribe to our channel and activate the bell
32:00to receive notifications of our latest videos.
32:03You will surely like them.
32:05Now yes, let's go to the end.
32:08Number 1, Nina, 24.
32:1124 was full of twists and surprises,
32:14but none as notable as this one from the first season.
32:18At first, Nina Myers played the role of an official of the UAT and an ally of Jack Bauer.
32:25When an infiltrator is discovered within the organization,
32:29Jack immediately suspects Nina, but soon her name is clear.
32:33However, in the end we discover that he was right,
32:36in a twist that changed the character and the series.
32:49It is a classic plot twist in which an exceptional and honorable officer
32:53until then turns out to be an evil psychopath.
32:56Nothing is the same again once Nina is exposed,
33:00and this twist catapulted 24 from being a good show to a fantastic one.
33:06Is there an unexpected twist that you thought would be on our list?
33:17And you, do you agree with our choices?
