One day, little Krishna was playing with his friends in the fields of Gokul when they ran to Yashoda, complaining that he had eaten mud. Concerned, Yashoda hurried to Krishna and sternly asked, “Have you been eating mud?” The mischievous child shook his head, denying it, but Yashoda, unconvinced, demanded, “Open your mouth!”

Obediently, Krishna opened his tiny mouth, expecting only to amuse his mother. But what Yashoda saw inside left her speechless. Instead of a child’s mouth, she beheld the vast, infinite universe—the sun, the moon, countless stars, galaxies, and even time itself. She saw the cosmic order, the cycle of creation and destruction, and the essence of all existence within her little Krishna.

Overwhelmed by the divine vision, Yashoda's heart pounded with awe and devotion. She realized, if only for a moment, that her beloved son was not just a mischievous village boy but the Supreme Being, the very essence of the universe. But as swiftly as the vision came, it vanished, and she found herself gazing at her innocent little child once more.

Yashoda shook her head, dismissing the vision as an illusion. To her, Krishna was still her playful, lovable son—nothing more, nothing less.

The divine exists within all of us, often hidden in the simplest moments of life.
