00:00In Taekwondo, the Philippine National Taekwondo Athletes Tatchiana Mangin and Alain Ganapin will have a fierce competition to prepare for their upcoming competitions in 2025.
00:13Details on this will be brought to you by my teammate Rafael Banderrel.
00:19Next in line for the 2024 Philippine Junior Gym, Tatchiana Mangin will continue her career in 2025.
00:31Three major international competitions are in sight for 17-year-old Mangin.
00:38She plans to start her campaign this year in the 2025 Korea Open in July in Chuncheon, South Korea.
00:46This is the same place where she won the historic Philippine Gintong Medal in the women's under 49kg category of the World Taekwondo Junior Championships last year.
00:59In October, Mangin plans to participate in the International Taekwondo Federation or ITF World Taekwondo Championships that will be held in Pore, Croatia.
01:10Meanwhile, the University of Santo Tomas Student-Athlete will end its year in the 33rd Southeast Asian Games that will be held in Thailand in December.
01:21The good thing is that now we are helping each other as athletes and coaches and we are training together.
01:30It's like we are helping each other. Instead of being left behind, we are helping each other.
01:36She is also ready to prove her ability in her performance in the Seniors Division because in November, Tatchiana will turn 18.
01:47Meanwhile, Paris Paralympian Aling Ganapin is still on her own.
01:52Her next campaign is the 2024 Paralympics where she plans to participate in the World Taekwondo Championships.
01:59The Paris Games is one of the highlights of my career.
02:04It will be a good foundation for my future games.
02:11I hope I can continue my good performance.
02:16Last Monday, Mangin and Ganapin were among the athletes who were recognized in the Philippine Sports Writers Association or PSA Awards Night.
02:28Rafael Banderel for Atletang Pilipino for Bagong Pilipinas.
