00:17Yeah, so throughout my whole time incarcerated,
00:20my mom wasn't a very political person beforehand.
00:23The most political thing she did
00:24was go to the voting booth and check a box,
00:29specifically in 2016, she voted for Hillary Clinton
00:32because she wanted a woman to be elected,
00:35but she wasn't political at all
00:36until she saw what happened to her son,
00:38and the support she gave me
00:43led me through this entire time of three years.
00:47I spent almost my entire time in solitary confinement,
00:51so the small amount of times that I called her
00:54helped me get through it,
00:55and I'm very thankful that I have a warrior mom,
00:58and now I know where I get it from.
