00:00This is Philippine Coast Guard vessel.
00:07Live from the GMA Network Center, this is 24 Horas.
00:14Good evening, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
00:19China will stop its invasion and harassment in the Philippines.
00:24And the Philippines will return the Typhoon Missile to America.
00:28This is the challenge of President Bongbong Marcos to China.
00:33This is the continuation of China's alliance with the Philippines
00:36in the maintenance of the American Typhoon Missile System,
00:38which was recently transferred to a secret location.
00:41This is the President's statement in the midst of the continuous maintenance
00:45and rotation of the ships of the China Coast Guard
00:48in Bajo de Bacinloc and the close occupation of Zambales.
00:53This is Ivan Mayrina.
00:58President Bongbong Marcos has a challenge to China
01:01amid the continuous harassment of the Philippine ships in the West Philippine Sea.
01:28I will return the Typhoon Missiles.
01:30If they stop what they are doing, I will return all of them.
01:35This is the President's statement after the Chinese Foreign Ministry
01:39announced the existence of the Philippine Typhoon Missile System from America.
01:42China was called for a challenge and a different decision
01:46and was immediately called to stop the missile program.
01:49I don't understand the comments on the Typhoon Missile System.
01:52We don't make any comments on their missile systems.
01:54And their missile systems are a thousand times more powerful than what we have.
01:58So, I don't understand.
02:00For a long time now, China has been promoting the American Typhoon Missile Launcher
02:04which was deployed at Lawag International Airport in Ilocos Norte
02:08but was temporarily moved to an unplanned location in Luzon.
02:11Tomahawk Cruise Missile is being loaded on the Typhoon Missile Launcher
02:15and it can reach Russia and China.
02:18The Typhoon Missile Launcher is part of the Balikatan 2024
02:22and it was left by America to the Philippines.
02:23Filipino soldiers are being trained to use it.
02:27In Bajo de Masinloc, the Chinese Coast Guard ships have been circling
02:32and approaching the province of Zambales for almost a month now.
02:35Until a while ago, the Philippine Coast Guard Spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea,
02:40Commander J. Tariella, said that there are four Chinese Coast Guard ships
02:43circling Bajo de Masinloc with their monster ship,
02:46BRP Teresa Magbanwa,
02:48which is the only one guarding and navigating the Chinese ships.
02:51You are advised that you are currently sailing within a Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone.
02:56America is the biggest partner of the Philippines in the West Philippine Sea.
03:00The President confirmed their close ties with US President Donald Trump.
03:04Aside from security, the two leaders need to talk a lot
03:08including the new immigration policy of America
03:11where 100,000 Filipinos are affected.
03:14Hundreds of Filipinos have already returned home.
03:17So, this is something that we have to work through and hopefully resolve
03:22because the Filipinos in the United States especially
03:25have really formed a very important part already of their workforce.
03:29So, we'll see how we can influence the policy making in terms of immigration.
03:38The President also plans to implement the finance freeze
03:41that America implemented on all of its foreign aid,
03:43especially on the agencies of the US government.
03:49The two leaders have not yet confirmed their ties.
03:53For GMA Integrated News, Ivan Meirene, for 24 Hours.
03:58Comalec is appealing to the PNP to suspend for now the election period
04:05what it is doing as an off-land cutoff
04:08or house-to-house to individuals who own guns.
04:11The PNP is appealing to the PNP to suspend the June veneration.
04:27This is called an off-land cutoff under the long-term operation plan.
04:32Police are visiting the gun owners who have expired their registration
04:36to talk to them.
04:38Do you have a gun?
04:40No, I don't have one.
04:42Sir, can you tell us where you processed your gun?
04:49No, I don't have one yet.
04:51Those who are knocking are on the list of the PNP Firearms and Explosives Unit
04:55of the individuals who have expired their gun registration.
04:58Sir, can you give me a receipt?
04:59Here you go.
05:05That's a good one.
05:07At least, they are reminding me.
05:09That's okay.
05:11I like that. I even asked them.
05:13I don't have a gun.
05:15Why don't you have a gun?
05:17I trust them.
05:19In carrying out the off-land cutoff,
05:21there are two strict rules for the police to follow.
05:23First, they are not allowed to enter the house.
05:25Second, the off-land cutoff can only be carried out from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
05:32But during the election period,
05:34Comedex has lined up with the PNP as its deputized agency
05:38to suspend the off-land cutoff
05:40because it might be used as a threat.
05:43This is to avoid any issue where voters are afraid
05:47or use the off-land cutoff for the advantage of some politicians,
05:52some candidates or incumbents.
05:53If there's a need,
05:55we will be forced to even set aside the judgment of a deputized agency.
06:01The PNP insisted that the off-land cutoff will not be suspended,
06:05but they are ready to have a dialogue with the Comedex.
06:07More than 600,000 notices are required to be served
06:11to the owners of the guns that were registered.
06:14Of course, our work is direct.
06:17It's not prohibited by the election
06:18because it's our job as police to locate the firearms and to account all our firearms.
06:27On Tuesday of next week,
06:29the PNP and Comedex officials will meet to resolve the issue of the off-land cutoff.
06:34We are open to dialogue with the Comedex
06:37to explain to them the nature, extent and limitation of the off-land cutoff.
06:44For GMA Integrated News, I'm Jon Van Assio,
06:48for 24 Hours.

06:5764 people were on the airplane and 3 people were on the helicopter.
07:02According to Reuters News Agency,
07:05people were rescued from the water.
07:08And JP Soriano was found dead.
07:10A passenger plane was about to land at Ronald Reagan National Airport in America
07:19when it suddenly crashed into the US Army Black Hawk helicopter.
07:23It was captured by the Kennedy Center's observation camera.
07:27Two aircraft fell into the Potomac River
07:31causing a search and rescue operation by various agencies in the river.
07:36According to American Airlines,
07:3860 passengers and 4 crew members were on board the plane.
07:43Three soldiers were on board the helicopter according to a US official.
07:47The Federal Aviation Administration conducted an investigation
07:51while all landings and takeoffs in the area were suspended.
07:57No information regarding the number of deaths has yet been confirmed.
08:01All we can confirm tonight is the number of people on each aircraft
08:07and we can't provide any more information about recovery efforts.
08:11The focus now is rescuing people
08:15and that's what all of our personnel are focused on.
08:18The route of the airplane was seen in this flight tracking data
08:22before the signal was lost while flying over the Potomac River.
08:27US President Donald Trump was informed of the accident
08:31and he thanked the first responders.
08:34Trump said that he is monitoring the situation
08:37and will provide additional details if there is any change in information.
08:41The Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. is also tracking the incident
08:46but for now, they haven't been able to get hold of a Filipino witness.
08:51For GMA Integrated News,
08:53J.P. Soriano,
08:5524 Hours.
08:57President Bongbong Marcos was accused of destabilizing
09:01the Supreme Court petition
09:04to question the 2025 National Budget.
09:07The President said,
09:09the Office of the Solicitor General is confident that
09:11they will be able to prevent the budget from going against the Constitution.
09:15Ivan Mayrina has the floor.
09:19President Bongbong Marcos hasn't thought about
09:21the motives of the supporters of the Supreme Court
09:25to question if the process of the 2025 National Budget can't be passed.
09:30We shut down everything.
09:32I guess that's what they want.
09:34They want the government to cease working
09:36so that they can continue with their destabilization.
09:40On Monday, the Supreme Court issued a petition for certiorari and prohibition
09:44to Congressman Isidro Ungab
09:46and former Executive Secretary of Marcos, Atty. Vic Rodriguez.
09:48They said,
09:50it's against the Constitution to have white people
09:53in the Bicameral Conference Committee Report of the Congress
09:55that was based on the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
09:58Our House Chairman on Appropriations, Stella Kimbong, admitted
10:02that there are white people in the Bicam report of the Congress
10:05that was filled by the technical staff of the House and Senate,
10:08the so-called corrections.
10:10But nothing was changed in the numbers.
10:12She also signed 100 General Appropriations Bills to the President.
10:16There are no white people.
10:18And President Marcos,
10:20he blamed the 4,000 pages of the bill
10:23and he didn't see any black people.
10:25Because I reviewed it, analyzed it,
10:27and yes, in parts, vetoed it.
10:30And so, for those of you,
10:32and up to now, I cannot find those damned blank items.
10:37We'll keep looking.
10:39We'll keep looking.
10:41But I really am convinced that they simply do not exist
10:43because it is not allowed to exist.
10:45The President will now ask the Office of the Solicitor General
10:48to revoke the National Budget.
11:07For GMA Integrated News,
11:09Ivan Meirina, Katutok, 24 Hours.
11:12The country's economy grew by 5.6% in 2024.
11:18But that's not enough for the government's target.
11:21According to an economist,
11:23this means that more Filipinos are starving.
11:28Katutok, Maki Pulido.
11:32Even if the target growth rate,
11:35or the economy's growth rate,
11:37decreased from 6.5% to 6% for 2024,
11:39the government will still reach it.
11:42The economy only grew by 5.6% in 2024,
11:46which is being blamed for the following typhoons
11:49and tensions in other countries
11:51that have an effect on our economy.
11:53Agriculture and fishing are still declining,
11:56and the country's food is being taken away.
11:59Even in the fourth quarter of 2024,
12:01when it is expected that spending will increase
12:04due to Christmas,
12:06it will still increase due to the high prices.
12:07In the entire year of 2024,
12:09the sectors that have a big contribution
12:12are the following.
12:14Wholesale and retail trade,
12:16repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles
12:18that accounted for 1.0 percentage points,
12:21financial and insurance activities
12:23that accounted for 0.9 percentage points,
12:26and construction that accounted for 0.7 percentage points.
12:31While this falls short of our target growth rate
12:34of 6 to 6.5 percent,
12:36we are positioned as the third fastest
12:39growing economy in the region.
12:42According to economist Professor Emanuel Leco,
12:45these numbers mean that
12:47more Filipinos are starving.
12:49It means that the pockets of the citizens
12:52when it comes to high purchases
12:55should be realized by our government.
12:58He noticed that the stores in the market
13:00because they only have one piece
13:01of vegetables to sell to their customers.
13:04They said that the vegetables are expensive
13:07and they don't have enough budget.
13:10Alan's problem is really about the budget
13:12as he is a minimum wage earner.
13:14They are eight in the family
13:16and they need to be able to afford
13:18500 pesos per day for food.
13:20Before, we used to buy 10 pesos.
13:22Now, it's 2 to 2.5 kilos.
13:24The longer it takes, the more difficult it is.
13:26Now in 2025,
13:28the government's target is 6 to 8 percent
13:29growth in the economy.
13:31NEDA said that they are confident
13:33that this will be achieved.
13:35For GMA Integrated News,
13:37Mackie Pulido for 24 Hours.

14:44that I'm going to eat this

14:48It has a smoky and crunchy
14:50flavor at the same time.
14:52It's delicious in fairness.
14:54If their food trip

14:58they won't be sad.
15:00We're so happy
15:02to have them here.
15:04We are so happy
