प्रयागराज, उत्तर प्रदेश: तीर्थनगरी प्रयागराज में चल रहे अलौकिक और अद्वितीय महाकुंभ में श्रद्धालुओं के पहुंचने और पवित्र संगम में स्नान करने का सिलसिला लगातार जारी है। आज भी महाकुंभ में लाखों की संख्या में श्रद्धालुओं ने डुबकी लगाई। राज्य सरकार और मेला प्रशासन ने मौनी अमावस्या पर अखाड़ा मार्ग पर मची भगदड़ के बाद कुंभ क्षेत्र में सख्ती बढ़ा दी है। श्रद्धालुओं के आने और जाने के रास्ते अलग-अलग कर दिए हैं यानी वन-वे व्यवस्था लागू की है। इसके साथ ही पूरे मेला क्षेत्र को नो-व्हीकल जोन घोषित कर दिया है। इसके अलावा, मेला प्रशासन ने सभी वीवीआईपी पास भी रद्द कर दिए हैं। मेला क्षेत्र में भीड़भाड़ को कम करने के लिए प्रयागराज के पड़ोसी जिलों से आने वाले वाहनों को जिले की सीमाओं पर रोका जा रहा है। ये सारे सख्त प्रतिबंध चार फरवरी तक लागू रहेंगे। मौनी अमावस्या को हुई भगदड़ के कारणों की जांच भी तेज हो गई है। गुरुवार को उत्तर प्रदेश के पुलिस महानिदेशक प्रशांत कुमार और मुख्य सचिव मनोज कुमार सिंह ने मेला क्षेत्र का निरीक्षण किया।
