प्रयागराज, उत्तर प्रदेश: मौनी अमावस्या को स्नान पर्व पर हुई हृदय विदारक घटना के बाद डीजीपी प्रशांत कुमार और प्रमुख सचिव मनोज कुमार ने आज पुलिस व प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के साथ कुंभ मेला क्षेत्र का निरीक्षण किया। डीजीपी प्रशांत कुमार और प्रमुख सचिव मनोज कुमार ने संगम नोज घटनास्थल और पूरे मेला क्षेत्र की जांच की। उन्होंने वाच टावर पर चढ़कर पूरे मेला क्षेत्र के इंतजामों का जायजा भी लिया। इस दौरान डीएम विजय किरन आनंद, एडीजी भानु भास्कर, कुंभ एसपी राजेश द्विवेदी सहित कई अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे। डीजीपी प्रशांत कुमार और प्रमुख सचिव मनोज कुमार ने वॉच टावर पर चढ़कर अखाड़ मार्ग के आसपास एक-एक बारीकियों को परखा।
