00:00We start at Turf Muir, where Leeds United faced a top of the table clash away at Burnley.
00:06Leeds United's top of the table clash against Burnley has ended, not surprisingly, in a goalless draw.
00:13I think a lot of people saw this coming a long, long way out when he looked at the statistics, at Burnley's record, at Burnley's defence,
00:19which is very, very good, it has to be said, but so too has Leeds this evening.
00:23The one thing you might have hoped for this evening is that, obviously, tonight you had the best defence in the division against the best attack in the division,
00:29and you might have hoped, obviously, that Leeds' attack would have been able to push through, but it wasn't the case,
00:34and this game looked like it was going to finish not just without a goal, but without even a shot on target,
00:40right up until the 89th minute when Dan James finally served one up, a shot half-volley from a corner that was tipped over the bar by James Trafford,
00:49a good save, and that was basically that, really. I think even Watsapp knew that was the chance if there was one,
00:56Watsapp didn't go in, but he knew you were heading for a stalemate here, and there's probably two ways of looking at this.
01:02There's probably one way of looking at it, is that a bit of disappointment from a Leeds United point of view,
01:07in terms of they couldn't offer a little bit more attacking-wise, albeit the defence you're up against here at Burnley.
01:12They've only conceded four goals here all season, I think it's nine in total in the whole league so far, and it's an absolutely amazing record.
01:19So that was a bit disappointing, really, and a lot of the attacking players didn't really shine, I think that's fair to say.
01:24The other way of looking at it is that they've avoided a defeat, obviously had Burnley won then it would have drawn back level with Leeds,
01:31but now they're staying three points behind them, and ultimately it's another point gained on Sheffield United as well,
01:37so you're talking two ahead of the Blades and three ahead of Burnley, with I think it's 17 games left of the Blades,
01:42so not quite in the sort of home straight yet, but getting towards it, and with a lot of the tougher tests out of the way,
01:49obviously still got to play Sheffield as well away, you would obviously have to fancy Leeds' chances,
01:55looked a very, very solid outfit tonight, there's no doubt about that, but as I say, just, you know,
02:00would have been good to have seen a little bit more from an attacking sphere.
02:03And next to Valley Parade, where Bradford City were taking on League Two leaders, Walsall.
02:10Well, it was quite a triumphant victory for Bradford City over League Two leaders Walsall at Valley Parade.
02:183-0 was the final score, with the scoring being opened in the 11th minute by Antony Sarkovic,
02:24and then Alex Patterson scoring a goal either side of half-time to make the score 3-0.
02:30Quite the win for the Bantams against a really good Walsall side,
02:34which has seen Graham Alexander's team move into the playoffs in League Two,
02:38somewhere where they've wanted to be for some time now, and the month of January has been very good to them,
02:43they've remained unbeaten, which has aided them in getting into the playoffs.
02:47Now it's very much a case of building on that against Morecambe in their next game,
02:52but their performance against Walsall was nothing short of brilliant.
