The little white rabbit wandered deeper into the forest, his fluffy tail bobbing behind him as he tried to find his way back home. The trees seemed taller and darker as the sun began to set, and he could hear the soft hoots of owls waking up for the night. He felt a little scared but also determined to keep going.
As he wandered, he spotted a gentle glow in the distance. Curious, he hopped toward it and found a beautiful firefly sitting on a rock. "Hello, little one," said the firefly, her voice warm and soothing. "You look lost. Can I help you?"
The little white rabbit nodded eagerly. "I can't find my way home, and my parents must be so worried!"
The firefly smiled. "Follow me. I know this forest like the back of my wings."
She lit up the path as the rabbit followed her, weaving through the dense forest. Along the way, they passed a family of squirrels who offered them some nuts, a group of singing crickets who cheered the rabbit up, and a wise old owl who gave them directions to the clearing near the rabbit’s house.
