00:00What's the, how have we started to make strides that we need to keep pushing on, maybe also
00:08what should we throw away?
00:10From what I've seen, I've seen two strains.
00:13I do see sincere progress.
00:18I also saw the trap of performative diversity, which is around the season, we all remember
00:26the season of George Floyd, just to put it in a curt way, where people do their black
00:33square and they create a role.
00:35I mean, what are, speaking of confessions, all these businesses that have to hire somebody.
00:41I'm not going to stop being racist.
00:43I need to hire somebody and pay them a lot of money to police my racism, to keep me from
00:49only hiring white men.
00:50That confession that that is probably coming from this DEI stuff.
00:55So there's that performance that then just expires.
00:59And it also sets you up to, we've certainly, you know, I definitely have seen a lot of
01:05hiring people that are, they don't know well enough to know whether they're qualified,
01:11but it gives you a black friend.
01:13And then they fail because you starve them to death.
01:15And then now I don't even see.
01:17See, I tried.
01:20And then they don't have to do it again.
01:22And they're validated and you're stuck.
