00:00The two-day special job fair of the Department of Labor and Employment, DoLE, for those who lost their jobs due to the Pogo ban, started on Saturday.
00:11According to Radio Pilipinas, Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, Jr. said that more than 5,000 jobs will be allocated for the special job fair held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay.
00:24More than 100 local employers and 6 overseas companies from Metro Manila will participate in the activity.
00:33Meanwhile, DoLE assured that Pogo workers' work experience is in line with their previous work experience.
00:41That is, displaced Pogo workers will be assigned one of the following or under the profiling to focus on the possible work for them.
00:50Aside from work, DoLE also has other programs like upskilling and business.
