00:14The mock elections for the 2025 national and local elections in different parts of the country are now in full swing.

00:23Komalek also held the voters' education for the upcoming Hatol ng Bayan 2025.

00:33As part of the preparations for the 2025 national and local elections,

00:37the Commission on Elections conducted mock elections in different parts of the country.

00:43Among the places where the mock elections were held were Taguig, Pateros, Makati, Mountain Province, Rizal,

00:50Eastern Samar, Surigao del Norte, Sulu, and Special Geographic Area.

00:56Komalek Chairman George Garcia held the mock elections in Walled City and Busbo in Hulusulu.

01:02He also visited Taglii and Anuling in Patikul, Sulu.

01:06The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting, or PPCRV,

01:11National Citizens Movement for Pre-Election, NAMPREL,

01:15Legal Network for Truthful Elections, or LENTE,

01:18Participate PH, Political Parties, and Coalition of Political Parties.

01:23The purpose of the mock elections is to simulate the end-to-end voting process.

01:28The candidates are current registered voters from the selected clustered precincts.

01:33According to Section 9 of RA No. 9369, which was amended in Section 11 of RA 8436,

01:41The success of the mock elections is one of the requirements

01:44for the issuance of a Certificate by the Technical Evaluation Committee.

01:48This is proven by the International Certification Entity of the Automated Election System,

01:54including hardware and software.

01:56Its components work properly, are correct, and are secured.

02:01Komalek also held a Voter's Education and Automated Counting Machine Demonstration

02:06for 4-Piece Beneficiaries in Minit Forest, Darussalam, Davao City.

02:12Clay Casalucuyo is now showing the students of TUP Santa Mesa, Manila,

02:17how the ECM will be used and how it will be used on the day of the election.
