A 61-year-old babysitter pleaded not guilty at the Kota Tinggi Sessions Court on Wednesday (Jan 22) to causing the death of a nine-month-old boy.
Chia Muy Hoon ,as a person with custody of the infant, allegedly abandoned, neglected, or exposed the child to danger, resulting in injury to the left side of his head leading to death.

00:52for up to 20 years, or both upon conviction.
00:56Deputy Public Prosecutor Ahmad Khairuddin Khalid requested bail be set at 20,000 ringgit
01:02with additional conditions, including regular police station, check-ins and no contact with
01:08witnesses, especially the victim's family.
01:11Defence Counsel Amy Law Siu Tin sought a lower bail amount, citing her client's role as the
01:17sole breadwinner caring for a disabled husband.
