Zamboanga snares Italy's 'tallest man' in Dubai Championship bid  Zamboanga Valientes recruits 'Italy's tallest man' Samuel Deguara for the upcoming 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship. Deguara, who also played in East Asia Super League, shared that he liked the chemistry with the locals so far, and shared that the Filipino basketball's phase was faster. 00:00It's a good pace of basketball. We are getting to know each other and they are looking for me in every situation that we can play.

00:16The Philippine basketball is changing also. The NBA is a different pace. It's faster now and you have to adapt.

00:29In the past I was running in a sad place and it was slow. But now it's more like faster. Quick decisions.

00:40I had a couple of good months in the past. I got noticed by everybody playing in Asian tournaments and having great performances in ESL.

00:56That's how I got in contact with June.

01:02I would consider higher level teams and leagues. I would consider helping Valientes, Aces.

01:14The time will come when I play basketball.

01:20The team is great. We are getting to know each other. There is a lot to improve. I've been here for a short period of time.

01:33So far it's been great. We are trying to do our best to learn from the coach and learn from my teammates what we can do to each other.

01:45There is a lot of talent here. I think the best players can do this job. It's not that hard to me.

02:02I've been talking to him every day. Helping each other. What he can do. What kind of decisions he can make when he got the ball outside the paint.

02:18I've been trying to mentor him and helping him to play better.

02:23I think they are great. We are going to win a couple of games and we will see after that.
