Milchay breaks through with BIMP-EAGA gold

Denied of a podium finish multiple times, Milchay Moreno of the Philippines finally clinched a gold medal at the 2024 Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines-East Asean Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) Friendship Games at the Ramon V. Mitra Sports Complex in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, on Dec. 2, 2024.

Moreno topped the 400m women's race with a time of 1:00.41. Shakira Natashya of Malaysia B finished second with her 1:02.44 while Crislyn Grace Wenceslao, also from Philippines A, placed third with 1:02.77.
