00:00Day one of the second Trump administration, and the pace of change is already rapid.
00:05To the cheers of an arena filled with fans, the 47th President of the United States signed
00:10a slew of orders aimed at undoing the policies of his predecessor.
00:14The first item that President Trump is signing is the rescission of 78 Biden-era executive
00:20actions, executive orders, presidential memoranda and others.
00:24And to great cheers, pulling the U.S. out of the Paris Climate Accord.
00:28We're going to save over a trillion dollars by withdrawing from that treaty.
00:35But Trump didn't stop there.
00:37Later at the Oval Office, the freshly inaugurated president took care of what he sees as unfinished
00:42business from his first term.
00:44So this is January 6th.
00:47These are the hostages.
00:49Approximately 1,500 for a pardon.
00:53Full pardon.
00:55Trump has never acknowledged he lost the 2020 election, and he sees the rioters who tried
00:59to overturn the confirmation of Joe Biden as political prisoners.
01:04It may just be the opening hours, but already much of Joe Biden's legacy is undone.
01:09Government diversity initiatives are cancelled, directives on climate change reversed, and
01:14sanctions on Israeli settlers in the West Bank who've been violent toward Palestinians axed.
01:19And there's more.
01:21Trump has withdrawn the U.S. from the World Health Organization and even begun renaming
01:25geographical features.
01:27It's just the tip of the sweeping changes Trump has vowed, from ending birthright citizenship
01:31to expanding U.S. territory.
01:33But if this early momentum keeps up, the pace of change could be very fast.
