00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. denied the contents of the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Act.

00:07It was supported by some senators and said that the innocence of children should not be sacrificed.

00:14This is what Daniel Manalastax wrote.

00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. already has the Senate Bill No. 1979, the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Act.

00:29The President said that although the importance of teaching reproductive health, prevention of early pregnancy, and human immunodeficiency virus to children, he was surprised by the contents of the bill.

01:00You will teach 4-year-olds how to **** that every child has the right to try different sexualities.

01:12Even now, the President assured that with the current form of the bill, it will not be satisfactory to him.

01:19This is ridiculous. It is abhorrent. It is a travesty of what sexual and sex education should be to the children.

01:28What about the parents? They no longer have the right to decide what and when to teach the child.

01:37And I am already guaranteeing that this bill will not pass.

01:42But if this bill is passed in that form, I guarantee all parents, teachers, and children, I will immediately veto it.

01:55Senator Joel Villanueva agreed with the President's sentiment on the bill.

02:00He said that although the adoption of adolescent pregnancy should be addressed, the innocence of children should not be sacrificed.

02:09Let us also be reminded of the importance of families as stated in our Constitution, which recognizes the natural and primary right and duty of parents to rear their children.

02:23Senator Risa Hontiveros clarified some provisions in the Constitution.

02:27She is ready to listen in order to amend the Constitution.

02:32CSE contains the very same things you support. Teaching kids anatomy, the consequences of early pregnancy.

02:40That is what we are also advocating. I am willing to accept amendments to refine the bill so we can steer it to passage.

02:49For Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, he supports the provisions in health care and support for teenage mothers.

02:57But his support is not included in teaching sexual education at a young age.

03:02Police should not be forced to weaken the morality and humanity of youth.
