00:00The Philippine Amateur Baseball Association, or PABA, has already laid out the upcoming activities of the Philippine National Team for the year 2025.
00:10Here are the details of the report by teammate Bernadette Pinoy.
00:15Following the successful campaign of the Philippine Amateur Baseball Association, or PABA last year,
00:21the agency also laid out what the Philippine fans should look forward to in 2025.
00:26According to PABA Secretary General Jose Antonio Pepe Munoz,
00:29they are preparing four tournaments for the Men's Team, Women's Team, and Grassroots Development Program.
00:36Women's Baseball Asian Cup, which the venue will be China,
00:41and we're just waiting for the advice on the dates.
00:47I think the tournament is expected to be in June.
00:51For Men's, it will be the Asian Baseball Championship in September.
00:57I think there are no dates yet, but in August, we're expecting the Under-15 Baseball Tournament for Boys.
01:06And then the last one is the Southeast Asian Games in December.
01:11Pepe also added that they are doing tryouts to discover Filipino batters who will represent the country.
01:18He also gave an update to the Men's National Baseball Team.
01:22I think we're going to be adding one player now to replace a player that decided to go abroad.
01:29Meanwhile, Pepe also said that they will give more opportunities to youths from all parts of the country.
01:37Our grassroots programs are doing very well.

01:43We have to thank Pony League.
01:45And then there's the new Babe Ruth.
