00:06This is the latest development for the Queen of the Nation,
00:10Zaidatul Husniah Zulkifli,
00:12who was excited to celebrate his 100-metre record
00:16with a record of 11.49 seconds,
00:20finally recognized by World Athletics.
00:23Zaidatul's 3-month waiting period for the official status of the record is over
00:28through an official statement from the World Athletics Association,
00:31which also added a quote from the World Ranking Eye.
00:36Zaidatul, when contacted by journalist Karl Lunis,
00:38highlighted the efforts and initiatives of the Malaysian Sports Union
00:42which is working hard to prepare a support document related to the record
00:46which was recorded at the Cahaya Mata Sarawak Sports Festival
00:49and was released on 12 October last year.
00:52It is hoped that Malaysia does not need to wait another 31 years
00:56to witness the new athlete breaking the record of Zaidatul Husniah.
01:00First of all, I am grateful to God.
01:02I have been dreaming of the good news that I have received.
01:07Because after waiting for so long,
01:12because before this, I have managed to break the 100-metre record twice,
01:18but was not recognized.
01:20So now I feel very grateful
01:24and because of my hard work so far, it has been very fruitful.
01:29I would also like to thank my family for their support,
01:35my coach for helping me a lot,
01:39and MAF for successfully resolving this issue as soon as possible.
