00:00I think I might have one of the best leads of 2025. I tell you, this lead is so, my opinion,
00:07so good. So yesterday we talked about the NBA and how they could fix their issues with the
00:14three-point line. And let me tell you something, I'm here to fix it for the National Basketball
00:21Association. Here's what the NBA should do. So they don't have to change the court side.
00:26They don't have to do anything to alter the game where it's going to be so shocking to people
00:31they're not used to seeing what's going on. Eliminating the corner three, moving the
00:35three-point line back. Very simple. The NBA should adopt a rule that basically every shot
00:43is a two-pointer until the last five minutes of each quarter is when the three-point line
00:48will then take effect. Last five minutes of each quarter. Why not the last five minutes
00:55of the halves? Whatever. I mean, if it has to be the half, but we start with the quarters and
01:00then we see, does that help the league out? And if not, then maybe we say, all right,
01:05maybe it's better we go the last five minutes of the second quarter. Like you said, Curtis,
01:12of each half. I like it, Wicks. I like it too. I love it. And then you don't have to
01:16move three-point lines. You don't have to eliminate corner threes. Teams would still
01:21be able to utilize the three-point shot, but it would be more of a end-of-the-half,
01:31end-of-the-game weapon that they could utilize maybe to get back in a game if they need. They'd
01:36have to play better defense because they couldn't dig themselves so deep of a hole and go, well,
01:41we could just hawk up a bunch of threes to get back. And if it's the end of the game and the
01:44team's behind and threes aren't falling for the Celtics say, then they're not going to be forcing
01:48it. I like that. It changes the whole landscape of the game without changing the actual court
01:59dimensions and all that other kind of stuff. I love this too, because two reasons. One,
02:06you would have a sharp shooter, your best three-point shooter, basically waiting like a
02:12closer to come into the game for the final couple minutes when he's going to be needed to get the
02:17team back into it or put a team away.
