However, we only utilized the internal storage (SD card) as the primary storage for the NAS. In this video, we’ll take it a step further by showing you how to configure and use an external drive—such as a USB flash drive, hard drive, or SSD—as the main NAS storage.

We’ve created a script that simplifies the process of setting up a NAS server with external storage.
