00:00The Bureau of Internal Revenue or BIR will not stop their efforts to fight for justice in the Mike Abelive program.

00:08BIR Commissioner Romeo Lumavi Jr. said that they will not only fight for the right justice,

00:15but they will also be disciplined in their employees who are suspicious.

00:20If you remember, the BIR used their target collection in 2024

00:26that was laid out by the Development Budget Coordination Committee.

00:29BIR admitted that there are still some companies, like some cigarettes and vape companies,

00:35that are suspicious, so they will not stop it.

00:38At the same time, their call to everyone that the Bureau of Internal Revenue

00:42is not only the work and success of BIR, but all Filipinos.

00:48First of all, we will continue the improvements that we started here in BIR.

00:55All the programs that we started, since we were appointed as commissioners,

01:01we already discussed what will be our plans and programs.

01:06Of course, those results would take time.

01:09Now, we can see the results of the plans and programs that we made.

01:15First, we focused on improving the taxpayer service.

01:20That's what I always say because my mentality is that all of our countrymen

01:28want to comply and pay the right tax.

01:33But sometimes, the process is really difficult.

01:37That's why we want to, as much as possible, start with ourselves

01:41to provide a good service to our countrymen.
