00:00The Department of Health, DOH, aims to bring the medical service closer to the Filipinos.
00:06In an interview with Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, DOH Secretary Chedoro Herbosa said
00:12that they will bring their services closer to our countrymen.
00:18This is in accordance with President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.'s orders,
00:22just like the construction of additional hospitals,
00:26including the Heart and Specialty Center in different parts of the Philippines.
00:31As of now, there is a multi-specialty center in Clark,
00:35just like the one in North Triangle,
00:38which only has a Kidney, Heart, and Children's Hospital.
00:42There are two types of hospitals.
00:44The first one is in Clark.
00:45We also have a lot of hospitals in different parts of the Philippines
00:50that were helped by the Heart Center to develop,
00:53and now it can operate.
00:54These are called legacy projects of the President.
00:58Hopefully, President BBM and I will be able to cut that ribbon,
01:02at least, even if we can show it to people.
01:05But all of those are under construction now.
