00:00The 2025 budget of the Department of Health is the biggest in history according to Health Secretary Ted Hermosa.

00:22President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. insisted that there should be no worries for the health sector.
00:29This was announced by DOH Secretary Theodoro Hermosa in front of the biggest budget in the history of the health department that received this fund.
00:37According to Hermosa, it is already a big deal if they will pour the funds of the Marcos administration from the beginning of its term.
00:45P188 billion pesos in the beginning was followed by P215 billion pesos the following year and now 2025 there is more than P250 billion pesos of funds.
00:57This is a proof that the President fulfilled his promise that there should be no worries in the budget of the Department of Health.

01:09In fact, during the time of President BBM, it was already high, P188 billion pesos in the beginning was followed by P215 billion pesos and now P250 billion plus.
01:20So technically, what he is saying is that there should be no worries in the budget of the Department of Health, he really put it there.
01:27This was also the reason why the President gave the commitment of his administration that social services is a priority in the 2025 national budget.
01:39In addition to this, giving priority to the health sector while P198 billion pesos was also allocated that the distribution of health care services will not be affected as well as the payment of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation of PhilHealth of benefit packages for its members.
01:55At the same time, in December of the same year, the President promised that the benefits of PhilHealth will be added as part of his goal to improve the health care services for the Filipinos.

02:12Even if there is a subsidy, even if there is no subsidy, even if there is a contribution, all of these issues, PhilHealth's services will not be reduced.
02:23PhilHealth's payment to the insurance claim will not be reduced.
02:29In fact, we will increase the services that PhilHealth will provide, we will increase the payment to the insurance claims.
02:41It should be noted that PhilHealth itself was the first to announce that since this year, all 50% of the benefit packages for its covered patients have been increased.
02:50However, the increased benefit package for the kidney transplant, which was previously P800,000, will be repaid with the expense of up to P2 million.
