00:02Is it tough to see Notre Dame fighting

00:05for another national championship?

00:09Yes, it is, Bri, because we had some pretty big rivalries

00:14against them.

00:15And when you have a rivalry team like Notre Dame,

00:19it does make it a little difficult to root for them,

00:23especially with the game, the rivalries

00:25that we had against them.

00:26They were all just dogfights.

00:28And to that last game, the Bush-Push game,

00:32every game was just a dogfight against Notre Dame.

00:34And that was a game I always had circled on my calendar.

00:37And so it makes it a little tough to root for them.

00:40But I'm a fan of the head coach, Marcus Freeman.

00:46I think the world of him.

00:48I think he's been great.

00:49He's been extremely classy and professional,

00:52which is what you need out of a head coach.

00:54And I think Notre Dame is lucky to have him, honestly,

00:57because from that very first video,

00:59when they announced him as the head coach

01:01and we saw the entire team jump up,

01:03celebrate him, hug him, cheer, high five,

01:06you could just see these kids want to play for him.

01:09And they respect him as a head coach.

01:12They're excited.

01:13And this is right after Brian Kelly left to LSU.

01:16And a lot of times when that happens,

01:18you just don't know who the next guy is going to be.

01:20You don't know if he's going to be the right guy.

01:22And there's been a ton of horror stories

01:25out there where the next guy has not been the right guy.

01:28And so Notre Dame, they hit the jackpot with this guy,

01:31Marcus Freeman.

01:32And I love what he's done with the team.

01:35So it's going to make it hard to cheer for them.

01:38But because I'm a fan of his, if they win, I won't be mad.

01:42I won't be mad at them.

01:43OK, that's very fair reasoning.
