ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ : ਹਲਕਾ ਜੰਡਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਰਪੰਚੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਚਲਦਿਆਂ ਰੰਜਿਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਮਾਮਲੇ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੀੜਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਰਪੰਚੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਲੜਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ। ਜਿਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਧਿਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਇਆ ਵੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਪਰ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰਾਹ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਡੀ ਹੇਠ ਦਰੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ।ਪੀੜਿਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੈ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਰਪੰਚੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਰੰਜਿਸ਼ ਰੱਖੀ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਵੀ ਦੂਜੀ ਧਿਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਕੇ ਲਲਕਾਰੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਗਏ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਗਏ ਸੀ, ਉਸੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਵੇਲੇ ਫੌਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਡੀ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਮੰਗਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੜਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਜਿਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਮੰਗਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਲਿਜਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
