We ask Birmingham residents how they feel about the recent budget and whether they think it was a success or failure. Are rising prices, passed on by businesses, making life harder?

00:00I think that the Chancellor had to find some money somewhere and maybe she could
00:07have rated it slightly so that the National Insurance didn't kick in at
00:135,000. Yeah businesses do always pass on things on to customers and do think that
00:19prices have gone a lot higher which is disappointing. I think it's the Labour
00:24government as a whole haven't been keeping to their promises and looking
00:29after people as they should do. I was very disappointed I've got to say it
00:34wasn't a typical Labour policy I wouldn't have thought. The winter fuel
00:38payments was a complete disappointment I'm really surprised that has been
00:42stopped apart from people who are on benefits and the National Insurance rate
00:48I'm disappointed about that as well it is affecting businesses I'm sure and
00:52business leaders are coming across saying that so I think that's fact.
