00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. wanted the agency's programs to be removed from the Unprogrammed Appropriations Act.
00:08Next year, he wants the government welfare programs to be immediately benefited by the Filipinos.
00:17The result of the review of the agency's budget under the 2025 General Appropriations Act was also discussed.
00:27The budget of the DSWD was reduced by P10.85 billion or 4.79%.
00:36So, from P226.67 billion under the 2025 National Expenditure Program,
00:45only P215.82 billion was approved under the 2025 General Appropriations Act.
00:52Meanwhile, the DSWD increased P41.8 billion from the Unprogrammed Appropriations Act
01:01to justify the Pantawid Pamilang Pilipino Program or 4Ps from August to December 2025.
