00:30Jadmur Tunnel, which has been renamed as Sonmarg Tunnel, has been donated by the Prime Minister of the country to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
00:52I would like to tell you about my project.
00:57There are two parts to our project.
01:00The 18 km road from Sonamarg to Baltal has been completely completed.
01:07The first program was that the Prime Minister will go from the helipad to the Baltal portal of the Jodhia Tunnel.
01:14But due to PMO and security reasons, some changes were made in the program.
01:19Maybe because of winter, the Prime Minister could not go there.
01:24But our 18 km road has been completely completed.
01:30The 13 km Jodhia Tunnel, which is the mightiest highway tunnel in India, is still in stage 1 excavation, which is less than 2800 m.
01:44And on December 2025, we will be successful in connecting Kashmir to Ladakh in any condition.
01:56We call it a tunnel breakthrough.
01:59It will be a road tunnel.
02:01But if an ambulance from Ladakh comes or if there is a need for defense, they can come from our tunnel to Srinagar.
02:13They will be able to go from Srinagar to Ladakh.
02:16We have about 1200 people working in the complete tunnel even in winter.
02:24If the work does not stop this time in winter, which has been stopped since the last two seasons due to the danger,
02:33then in December 2027, people from Ladakh and Kashmir will start coming and going from the Jodhia Tunnel at a speed of 80 km per hour.
02:45We are very sad because we have very good relations with the company of Jodhia Tunnel.
02:55We know their workers very well.
03:01But we had a lot of support at that time.
03:06We have about 1100 people, officers, trademen, technicians and laborers.
03:14They are residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
03:17So that incident did not have much effect on our tunnel.
03:23Because the people of Kashmir who work with us have been witnessing such incidents since childhood.
03:31So it did not have much impact on our progress.
03:35Because 90% of the workforce with us is from Jammu and Kashmir.
03:42And the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be 100% successful in giving this tunnel to the country by 2027.
03:51The hard work, dedication and discipline of the Jammu and Kashmir engineers, tradesmen, workers and laborers who work with us,
04:03I think the project will be completed before 2027.
