Smoke seen issuing from Newton Abbot toilets

SMOKE could be seen issuing from public toilets in Newton Abbot on Monday, January 13.
Firefighters were quick to the scene after reports came in just before 5pm.
An eyewitness told the Mid-Devon Advertiser that 'thick black smoke' was coming from the mens toilet.
It is though that toilet paper had been set alight inside, the Mid-Devon Advertiser understands.
