00:00In billiards, the Amit Cup Season 3 Leg 3 was a successful edition

00:05that was held at VIP Billiard Hall, Pasay City.

00:08Bernadette Pinoy has the report on who were the champion winners.

00:15In the beginning of 2025,

00:18the Filipino billiard artists immediately made their appearance

00:21in Amit Cup Season 3 Leg 3.

00:23As many as 142 players registered for the tournament

00:28and joined the Intermediate and Advanced Division.

00:30According to the founders, Narendra Vera and Filipino billiard legend Rubilin Amit,

00:35this was their biggest achievement since the start of the tournament.

00:40It was a dream come true for Rubilin and I.

00:43Honestly, we knew that we would reach there,

00:46but I personally did not expect that it would happen that fast.

00:52So, our rate of engagement was exponential.

00:57And to think that we are just based in Metro Manila.

01:00Later on, Rubilin and I's dream was to reach the entire country.

01:05So, when we achieved that feeling,

01:08there were so many players who could join.

01:11In the match, Queen Legaspi won the Advanced Category

01:16after defeating Sofia Rosales 7-5.

01:19While Olive Olivero defeated Anne Santa Monica

01:22in the Finals of the Intermediate Class

01:24with a final score of 7-5.

01:27Honestly, there are a lot of female players here.

01:30At their age, they are better than me.

01:33So, I always tell them,

01:35don't be discouraged, especially when you lose in a tournament.

01:38Because that's how it is.

01:40You just have to go through that

01:42for the game to grow.

01:44And hopefully, the country can represent

01:46and bring honor to the country.

01:48Meanwhile, following the successful edition this January,

01:52Rubilin and I also announced

01:54that it is possible to host the Leg 4 and Grand Finals

01:57of the tournament in March and May this year.
