00:06the hugely delayed Calmac Ferry, has made its official entry to service with a return sailing

00:14to Brodick-in-Arran, Calmac's busiest route. It's been a long time coming but I think passengers

00:22will be very pleased at what they see on board. It's bright, comfortable and spacious,

00:29with plenty of different places to sit with different vantage points both on deck to the side

00:37looking forward and to the rear. There's a couple of cafes and some lovely quiet areas.

00:44We've spoken to the captain who says the extra power and manoeuvrability of this brand new

00:50vessel should make for a more resilient service across to Arran. It sails three times a day
