00:00The Bureau of Immigration promised that the country will not return the illegal aliens that were reported by the agency.

00:07This is Joshua Garcia's report.

00:12Cheating on pecking dating apps, scamming on cryptocurrency and pecking investments.

00:19These are just a few of the modes of illegal aliens that the Bureau of Immigration is reporting back to their country.

00:25The spokesperson of the Bureau of Immigration, Donna Sandoval, explained that this is a direct deportation and they will ensure that it will not return to the Philippines.

00:33Our jurisdiction is the status of these foreign nationals.

00:38For example, if there is no case filed against them, they are set for deportation.

00:44If we deport them, Sir Mike, that is directly blacklisted.

00:49So they are not allowed to re-enter the country so that they can have a better life here in the Philippines.

00:55Sandoval insists that this is not a good image for the country, that this is the destination of criminals to victimize foreigners.

01:03We are becoming like a place where these criminals are going to do these crimes and their victims are Westerners.

01:14So it's ugly, especially in the image of our country.

01:18The alleged illegal aliens are involved in scamming and have a connection to cryptocurrency,

01:23and the victims are Westerners or foreign nationals, most of whom are men, who are being deceived by fake dating apps and then cheated to invest in large amounts.

01:33Sandoval explains that there needs to be another case against the alleged illegal aliens so that they can be imprisoned here in the country.

01:39If they are imprisoned, for example, by the local courts, then we wait for that to be done.

01:47They need to serve their sentence before we implement the deportation.

01:51In addition to this, the BIA has intensified their monitoring.

01:55Fortunately, other government agencies, not only to catch criminals, but also to protect the country's reputation.
