06:21It is a semi-automatic coupler.
06:26It is a semi-automatic coupler.
06:31It gives the comfort of coupling.
06:36And this has now been developed fully in India, multiple suppliers have been created for this.
06:43In this semi-automatic coupler, a person does not have to go between two coaches to do the coupling.
06:51With the help of a handle, the coupling is done easily.
06:56Many improvements have been done to this semi-automatic coupler.
07:00Twelve major improvements are there.
07:03I will share this presentation with you.
07:07These are the improvements for this semi-automatic coupler.
07:12Twelve major improvements have been done.

07:56This is a semi-automatic coupler.
07:57This is a semi-automatic coupler.
08:18It has fast braking, which improves braking and safety.
08:23Seats and berths are ergonomically designed.
08:26Pantry car is made with very good design.
08:29As you have seen continuous lighting in Vande Bharat.
08:32LED lighting is continuous.
08:34Similarly, there is lighting in this too.
08:36Windows are of new type.
08:38Fire detection system is new.
08:40Vestibule gangway between two coaches is totally new design.
08:45External emergency lights are made.
08:47Charging sockets, USB-A and C-type.
08:50Now friends, 50 such cars will be made.
08:5450 Amritvara trains will be made in next two years.
08:58And our low income families,
09:03and ordinary families,
09:05all middle class families,
09:07lower middle class families,
09:09they should get good affordable service,
09:12with good features,
09:14with good experience.
09:16This is the mantra of our Prime Minister.
09:21And people at the bottom of the pyramid,
09:25should always think about them.
09:28They should get good features, good service,
09:31and good facilities.
09:33With that feeling, Amritvara train was designed.
09:47The Kashmir connectivity between Jammu and Srinagar,
09:53that is now complete.
09:55It's a dream come true.
09:58The Commissioner Rail Safety has done the speed test and speed trials,
10:03at 110 kmph on the bridge.
10:05So that's a very very complex project,
10:09out of the 111 odd kilometers,
10:12about 97 km is tunnels,
10:15and 6 km is bridges.
10:18So it's a very very complex project.
10:20That project is now complete.
10:22The Pamban bridge project is also complete.
10:24So many major new projects are now coming to a completion stage.
10:29And new types of trains, new safety features.
10:32Kavach, as you know, is getting installed in a very large number,
10:3610,000 locomotives are right now being fitted with Kavach.
10:40And about 15,000 km of track side,
10:44the track side fittings, those are being done.
10:48Telecom towers are being installed.
10:50Cameras are being installed on the front of the locomotives.
10:54In a sense, for safety, new point machines have been designed.
10:59We saw that somewhere close to Chennai,
11:02in one incident, people had taken out the bolts of the point machine.
11:06So new design of bolts have been prepared,
11:10which is now getting fitted everywhere,
11:12so that nobody can take them out.
11:14So all these very meticulously thought through features,
11:19meticulously thought through, going to the root cause.
11:23Every time we try to find the problem,
11:26and go to the root cause, so that we solve the root cause,
11:29and then that problem should not recur again.
11:32That is the thought process we are adopting everywhere.
11:37Sir, when can we expect the time service to normalise for ourselves?
11:39Very soon.
11:40And what will be the fares of this compared to the previous version?
11:43Amrit Bharat, the fares will be decided by the railway board.
11:47So what is the standard that was formed on this time?
11:50That report has been submitted.
11:53See, the confusion was,
11:56the CRS basically said,
12:00that this should have been RDSO standard design.
12:04Now when you do RDSO standard,
12:06RDSO standard design is done for bridges which are
12:10constructed in large numbers,
12:12bridge after bridge after bridge.
12:14This is a unique bridge.
12:16Pamban bridge is once in a lifetime you design and
12:20construct a bridge of this type.
12:22So CRS has explained this thing,
12:24that this is not a standard bridge,
12:26this is a uniquely designed bridge,
12:28in which the most, the best international experts,
12:32their services have been taken for designing and validating the design.
12:37So that CRS has understood,
12:40and they have now given their clearance on the bridge design.
12:45So panel report has also come?
12:47Yeah, panel report has also come.
12:49What is the statement of those engaged experts,
12:52who say that this is a joint effort with the CAF?
12:55That's a new beginning.
12:57That's a new beginning.
12:58I'll come very soon.
13:00I love coming here.
13:01I really like coming to ICF.
13:03ICF is, ICF nalla irke.
13:06ICF rumba nalla irke.
13:10And my team is so good here,
13:12our general manager sahab and the entire team,
13:15please give a very big round of applause for the entire team.
13:18All the nice innovations,
13:21rumba nalla innovation.
13:25When is the scheduled trials getting over?
13:27And when will it be ready?
13:29The trials normally take three months.
13:31And we don't want to take any shortcuts.
13:33We want everything to be thoroughly checked,
13:36everything, every feature,
13:38and especially all the safety features must be very carefully checked.
13:42That's why we are not rushing with the trials.
13:44Let the engineers and scientists who are doing the trials,
13:48let them do their entire complete work.
13:50When will it start?
13:52Very soon.
14:00Those changes are being made.
14:02One very important change was
14:04that the middle berth, right,
14:08the middle berth support,
14:10holding assembly,
14:12that was a design which was a flat strip kind of design.
14:16That design can basically cause problems
14:20because it can hurt somebody.
14:22So now that design is being changed.
14:24Yes, sir.
14:25And the rope design that we saw.
14:27Chain design.
14:28Chain design.
14:29And please go and see in this train.
14:31There is a very nice safety feature
14:34which is a good innovation
14:36in the locking the chain.
14:38That has been made.
14:40So please go and see that.
14:42It's a small feature but a very important feature.
14:44So those changes are being made in this.
14:51All sorted out.
14:53Those were, the major issue was
14:55whether it should be RDSO standard
14:57and I explained there is no standard design
14:59for a bridge like this.
15:01Those were already there.
15:03Those were already there.
15:05Sir, budget allocation for the last year
15:07around 6000 crore allocation.
15:09And next year there is a long standing
15:11process of allocation.
15:12I must say that we need the support
15:14of the state government in land acquisition
15:16as, please see the parliament reply,
15:19parliament questions replies.
15:21We really need the support
15:23and we must make sure that
15:25people's facilities are above politics
15:28and we must look at the
15:30welfare of people first
15:32rather than we should look at
15:35making sure that the government of India
15:37whatever thrust is there for development
15:39of railways in Tamil Nadu,
15:41the same support should come from the state government
15:44and land allocation is a major issue
15:47and I have requested Honorable Chief Minister
15:49Tamil Nadu to please support us
15:51because the people of Tamil Nadu
15:53want better facilities
15:55and the government of India, Prime Minister
15:57Narendra Modi ji is committed
15:59to provide those facilities
16:01and if we work in tandem
16:04then we can provide better facilities to the people.
16:07Sir, Madurai 2.5 new line project was dropped
16:09Tamil Nadu government has closed the
16:11land acquisition of this Madurai 2.5 new line.
16:14Because the state government
16:16gave it in writing that
16:18they don't want this project.
16:23Basically, the government said that
16:25they don't want, state government
16:27so that's why.
16:37It was a big dream of the country
16:39to join Jammu and Srinagar
16:41with the new railway line
16:43which has a lot of complexity
16:45of 111 km, there is a section
16:47which has 97 km tunnels
16:49and 6 km bridges.
16:51It is a very complex project
16:53and the dream has been fulfilled.
16:55The work has been completed.
16:57The CRS inspection has been completed.
16:59110 km bridges have been trialled.
17:01The report will come soon
17:03and work will start on it.
17:05For that, a new Vande Bharat
17:07has been designed.
17:09Because when the temperature
17:11is below 10 degrees
17:13and the ambient temperature
17:15is below 20 degrees,
17:17the electronics,
17:19the electrical connection
17:21and the interaction
17:23of the wheels with the rail
17:25and the fluids inside
17:27freeze.
17:29Keeping all these things in mind,
17:31a totally new design has been
17:33designed.
17:35All those preparations have been
17:37completed and in the coming
17:39time, this will also be a
17:41big dream of Bharat
17:43in which Jammu and Srinagar
17:45will join new railway lines.
17:55I also want to share that
17:57the progress of CAPEX
17:59on railways is very good.
18:01By end of December and the
18:03first week of January, already
18:0576% of the CAPEX has been
18:07utilised and this was
18:09a record CAPEX which has
18:11never happened in the history.
18:13I thank Hon. Prime Minister and
18:15Hon. Finance Minister for this
18:17kind of support to Indian railways
18:19because railways is the lifeline of our nation.
18:21By supporting the railways,
18:23the support is
18:25basically for the common citizens,
18:27for the middle class families.
18:29Middle class families are the ones who
18:31use the railways most.
18:33This support which Hon. Prime Minister
18:35and Hon. Finance Minister has
18:37given for railways,
18:39that is basically the support for
18:41poor families and for
18:43middle income families.
18:53It is a good thing to use the budget.
18:55I think you have understood
18:57the point correctly.
18:59The whole year's allocation
19:01will be used exactly
19:0376% in 9 months.
19:07Sir, what is the status of the
19:09Mumbai-Bharat train?
19:11Are the trains being used
19:13based on the importance of
19:15trains operating in the city?
19:29Sir, what is the status of
19:31what is the status of the
19:33connected rail of that by the
19:35future?
